I hesitated before speaking, "And how are we supposed to make sure this will work?" I asked.

Christina chuckled, "It will trust me. But I'm going to need your help getting the stuffed animal."

"Can't we just get any stuffed animal?" I asked.

"No it has to be a specific one...her stuffed animal," Christina said smirking.

It took me a minute to think of who her was then I couldn't help but laugh, "Wait what? How do you know?" I asked.

Christina hesitated, "We used to be friends...like best friends before high school."
"Well what happened?" I asked confused, I could never imagine Christina best friends with Molly.
"There was this end of the summer bonfire at her house...I was in the bathroom then I heard...well nothing it was weird the music stopped and everyone was so quiet. I walk out and than everyone started throwing...tampons at me."
"Tampons? Why tampons?" Of all the immature things.
"...Don't laugh. I didn't get my period yet and Molly told them."
"So?"
"So! There were guys there!" Christina sighed.
"Um okay, well what are you planning to do?" Steal her stuffed animal? Then what?
"We stick a bunch of toothpicks in it, but before that we do that old hair dye shower prank."
"What hair dye shower prank?" This is probably the weirdest thing I have ever heard.
"Instead of water coming out it'll be hair dye the next time she showers." Christina explained, "Will has done it to his sister Cara, he can help us. Lets go."
"What if she isn't home? Or what if her parents are home?" I asked
"Her dad is at work and her mom thinks we're still friends. I will take her dog outside of her mom isn't home, and Molly is hardly home she's always out with Peter." Christina rolled her eyes, "And her brother is at college now let's go."
After we picked up Will we drove to Molly's house. It was nice looking on the outside brown bricks with white panels and a navy blue roof.
"Nobody's home," Will said.
Christina cussed under her breath then looked around, "Windows open."
"Your crazy," I told her.
"Oh come on don't be so stiff loosen up have some fun," Christina then pulled out my hair tie. "Make like Elsa and let it go."
"Okay can we go now? Before someone comes?" Will asked.
"Maybe there's a key under the door mat?" I suggested.
Christina sighed, "We don't have time to check lets just go!"
We then got out of the car and headed to the window, then we heard barking. There dog was inside.
"That is one big dog," Commented Will.
"I have an idea, Tris I see a ladder in the backyard climb it up to one of the bedrooms." Said Christina, "Will and I will distract the dog."
"Your insane! Why should I?" I demanded.
"Because that's what friends do!" Christina said, "Now go!"
I sighed and climbed the fence then jumped falling on my face. I could hear the dog barking, I quickly ran to the ladder and put it against the back door, above it was a window with white and yellow polka dotted curtains. I began climbing. Thankfully the window was open. I lifted up the window I could hear the barking get closer, I put one foot in then the ladder fell back and I was holding on to the window ledge. I let out a big scream. I'm slipping. I never thought this was the way I'd die.
Christina and Will are nowhere to be seen. I don't think I can hold on any longer.
The barking was getting closer, but where was it coming from?
"Tris!" Christina called my name.
"I'm going to fall!" I called back.
"It's okay! Will is inside now! You were right there was a key under the mat! He's coming to help you I brought the dog outside!" She called back then ran to the front of the house.
I didn't know whether to be angry or relieved. I almost died for nothing. This prank better work, I thought.
"You okay Tris?" Will asked and grabbed both my wrists. When I let go of the ledge I let out a scream, it felt like I was falling. "Don't worry I got you," He said pulling me in.
Christina, "Will go install the hair dye. Tris and I will look for the teddy bear."
"Okay," Will walked out with the package of magenta hair dye.
"Come on let's get looking," Christina said opening her closet.
"Are we going to put the teddy bear in her locker or something?" I asked searching her bed.
"No, were swimming Monday. We are going to put it in the school pool."
Who is we? We don't have gym together...but Molly and I do. "You mean I am going to put it in the school pool." I corrected her.
"No, I can it would be easier if you did though," she responded pulling out a teddy bear smiling devilishly. "Found it!"
As mad as I was at Christina, I wanted to get Molly back just as much. She hurt my brother, and nobody is allowed to do that. "Okay," I said.
We then began stabbing the teddy bear and Christina pulled out a black sharpie out of her purse and wrote "Property of Molly," on the back and on the stomach she wrote, "I ❤️ Mr. Bear" I laughed, Will then ran in and said, "A car just pulled up!"
My heart began to race, were busted.
"Did you install the hair dye?!" Christina asked grabbing the bear.
"Yeah, let's go!" Will said.
"Go where?!" I asked frantically.
"The window!" He said as if it was so obvious. We jump on 3." Will said opening the window.
"What the hell are you freaks doing here?!" Oh no. Molly was here.
"You still have my sweater, I wanted it back." Christina said, "Nice curtains by the way they scream you." She added.
Molly glared at her, "I don't have anything of yours now get the hell out before I call the cops!"
"We were just leaving, come on guys." Will said walking out.
We were silent until Christina started the car, then we all began laughing.
"She is so stupid, she didn't even ask how we got in." Christina said laughing and pulling out of the driveway.
"Hey did you put back the house key?" I asked.
"Nah." Christina said smiling.
The next day at school Molly was wearing a beanie, she wouldn't stop giving me dirty looks.
"So stiff how did you even know where I lived?" She asked putting on her swim cap so nobody will be able to see her freshly dyed hair.
"I didn't your ex BFF Christina did," I said walking out quickly it then tossed the bear in the pool when nobody was paying attention and sat down on the bench. After the teacher took roll call a candor boy said, "Hey uh Eric there's something in the pool." Eric turned around, "Four will you get that?" It seemed more like an order then a request. Four sighed then dived in and seconds later came out with the teddy bear, I couldn't help it I began to laugh. I looked over at Molly, her face was bright red.
"Anyone lose a teddy bear?" Eric said smirking.
"Alright enough laughing. Give me that," Lauren said taking the teddy bear from Eric.
"Aw is it yours?" Eric asked.
"No, who put this in the pool as some joke? Because it's not funny," Lauren said looking around. Could she not see the writing? Or was she just trying not to embarrass Molly. "Well then since nobody wants to fess up, Start doing laps!"
The class groaned, then Eric said, "Hey wait there's stuff written on it."
Here it goes I thought.
"Molly, this is yours?" He asked trying not to smile but failing.
"N-no," Molly said.
"Says property of Molly, is this some anger management tool?" Eric asked smirking.
"Eric!" Lauren yelled glaring at him.
Molly then shoved me and ran in the locker room, a sudden feeling of regret washed over me.
