Levi's Angel Ereri/Riren

part 7

Jean's POV (In case you didn't know, he was the horsefaced demon from earlier)

I woke up with my head pounding What happened. I looked around to see all the other demons still unconscious. I saw Marco, he was sitting up a couple of feet over against the alleyway wall. I crawled over to him only to discover he was dead. Not only dead, half of him was completely gone.

"How did this happen?!" I whispered to myself. I looked around to see mostly everyone here was fatally wounded. I looked to my left to see scattered bags of groceries. Oh right, we were beating up that angel kid. But what happened next? Did some human do this to us? No. It had to have been a demon. But what demon could take on all of us??? Wait a minute, there is one-Levi Ackerman. He is going to pay for taking Marco away from me just you wait Levi...

Eren's POV

I woke up, once again I had ended up sleeping on the couch. I looked at the clock. 6:32 am. I got up and went to the bathroom to brush my teeth. When I stepped out of the bathroom I saw Armin.

"Armi-" I started, a little too loudly.

"Shh!" He whispered. "You don't want to wake the others up." I nodded in agreement. "Since your up," he began "would you care to join me for a morning jog?
"Sure!" I whispered. "I'll go get dressed."

We quitely left the cabin and began jogging. By the time we reached the end of the forest that met with the park, I was already slightly out of breath. Man I need to work out more. We found a path and began jogging together. 10 minutes late we decided to take a short break. We got out the towels that we had brought and I got out my water bottle. I took off my shirt and tied it around my waist. Let's just say I didn't plan this through and I choose a dark shirt and its like 10000° outside, well more like 85° F but thats still pretty hot. We sat down on a nearby bench. The sunrise was beautiful. This really is a peaceful place to be in the morning. On a bench to our left there was an old couple sitting together. The benches were about 10-15 yards apart each. To our right, there was a man with jet-black hair looking at the horizon. He looks kind of short...wait a minute, is that Levi?!?

"Hey there is a vending machine over there, want a snack?" Armin asked me.

"Huh? Oh yeah sure, just get me whatever." I replied averting my eyes from Levi. What are the odds that I would run into him here? After Armin got up and left for the vending machine I decided to go over to Levi putting my shirt back on first, for some reason I felt slightly self-conscious and didnt want to embarrass myself in from of Levi....

"Hi!" I said, "its me Eren, remember me from yesterday?"

"Tch, how could I forget a stupid brat like you in one day?" He responded coldly.

"Hey, you know some people actually prefer being called by there names... Anyways, what brings you here this morning?"

"What can't a guy go to a park without a reason?" He answered.

"Sorry, I didn't mean it like th-"

"It's fine brat, I'm just messing with you." I paused a moment.

"Oh! I'm here with my friend, want to meet him?" I asked. I turned around to see Armin bending down at the vending machine over near our bench picking up the snacks. I'll be right back!" I ran over to Armin.

"Hey Armin there's someone I want you to meet-" When I looked back to point to Levi he was gone.

"Who?" He questioned.

"Uhhh, never mind." Armin just shrugged and handed me a snack. We returned to sitting on our bench and finished our snacks.

"Alright, ready to head back? Everyone is probably awake by now." Armin asked. I nodded and we went back to the cabin.

When we got back to the cabin, Armin rounded everyone up and explained todays schedule. Meanwhile, I paid no attention as I though about Levi. He was wearing a black dri-fit shirt which fit him perfectly. I could see the faint outline of his muscles. For a short guy he sure was buff. I wonder if I will get a chance to see him again before we go back.

"And that concludes today's schedule. Any questions? Nope! Great, now let's go!" Armin exclaimed. I blinked a few times realizing I had no idea what he said. Oh well, I'll find out soon enough.
