The Wild

Chapter 1 pt 1

Hey guys,

I've been writing this when I'm bored in class or have free time and I looooooove writing it. I figured I'd share it with all of you loving people! Hope you enjoy, I'll update whenever I have more written. Love you all!

I laugh at my brother, Stephen, while I wait for the "principal" to come back with the new students for me to tutor. The "principal" is actually just a nickname that I'll admit is quite stupid, he's actually the president of the Study Club. After a while it became obvious he treated being president like it was a job, so some of the other tutors started calling him the "principal" finger quoting principal each time. I've never done anything like that before, but whenever I think about it, I finger quote it in my head.

I couldn't wait for today to end. It was Friday first of all, and second I was going to be gone for the weekend. Chadd, my boyfriend, was taking me on a special trip. I already had my bag packed and everything.

A blonde boy comes in behind the "principal" followed closely by Chadd. The blonde boy comes my direction, Chadd goes the other, towards my brother. I help the blonde boy, who I already knew as Isaac, study and then I leave and head home.

My parents died when I was little so it's just me and Stephen at home. I drop my bag on the couch and go to grab a snack. Then a 3D image of Moriana,(More-ee-on-uh)) my boss, shows up in front of me. I yelp and drop both my granola bar and cheese stick. I scramble for them and then sit on the couch.

"Hey, Mori." I say.

"That was quite the show." she says, her bright blue eyes showing how upset she is. "And don't call me Mori, Indiana."

"Okay, fine whatever." I cross my fingers behind my back.

Moriana then looks angry. "I thought we agreed today you were going to act!"

"We did." I agree. "But, woah, calm down. I have a plan."
"Not a very good one. Chadd is still keeping Isaac close and you missed your chance!" Moriana exclaims.

I hold up the slip of paper Isaac gave me. "Moriana do you know what this is? Isaac's number. If I have his number I can track his phone and I can," I pause and then reluctantly say, "Kidnap him. Chadd won't even know it was me. Besides, he's taking me to his castle tomorrow. I heard him talking about it with Erane." (Er-ā-n)

"Absolutely not. I will not have you in Antergard yet." she protests, slightly offended. "Stick to our plan."

I don't say anything, "Yeah, whatever. I'll talk to you later."

I quickly make my wings appear and flap at Moriana's picture. Causing her to glitch and disappear. I laugh, oh how I love doing that. Stephen gets back.

"Your boyfriend is the biggest idiot I know!" he exclaims.

"Besides yourself." I correct him, jokingly.

He tackles me, laughing. I shriek and he starts tickling me. I start laughing uncontrollably. I try to push him off but he moves and puts his body weight on me.

"Sta-he-ven." I whine.

"Indy-hanna." He whines back.

Chadd walks into the living room. "You too are weird."

Stephen turns around and rests his arms on my knees. "And you are an idiot."

Chadd rolls his eyes, "Whatever, tell me something I don't know. Indy-darling, you ready to go?"
