Chapter 2 - Totally Not Marinette

"Alright Adrien, this is crazy!" Plagg said "it was just a coincidence!" The kwami whined, it should be noted that these were the words Adrien would repeat in a stupid impression of Plagg and then raise his eyebrows at while Plagg gave him a death glare in not 24 hours.

The next day, it was 4pm, right after school ended and totally by coincidence also time for Ladybug and Chat noir to start patrol.

Ladybug was standing on top of Mon parnose tower waiting for chat to arrive when she heard a loud crash "what was that?" She asked literally nobody, she was standing alone on top of a building after all.

She rushed closer to where the sound came from and saw a giant... Uh-frog? What? It was clearly an akumatized villian but a very strange one, a one-eyed, half-human faced, half frog-faced frog... very strange

"Damn it chat" Ladybug yelled, she swung over to the park where the strange akumatized frog-human was and after a relatively long and slimy fight, managed to break the akumatized object and de-evalise the akuma.
Only then did chat come racing down the street

"I am so sorry bugaboo!"
Ladybug glared at him "yep, I expected nothing less" He said causing Ladybug to turn back to face the now in-akumatized person, it was a person around there age, who they'd both seen around school
"Oh hi Olivia-" Ladybug stopped herself "How do you know my name?" the girl asked confused "I'm a superhero, I know everyone around here" Ladybug said quickly "anyway, what happened?" she asked, clearly wanting to change the subject

"we had to dissect frogs in science class today and-"
"Right you have a pet frog" Chat said "what?" Ladybug turned back around to face him "how did you know that?" Olivia asked

"Uhhhhhhhh"

"I'm a superhero I know everyone around here, anyway continue" Olivia blinked before facing Ladybug again and continuing her story
"it made me really sad as I love frogs and I have one and I got akumatized I guess" She finished, her head seemed to hurt as she pressed her hand against her forehead and made an "ow" sound

"Thank you Ladybug" She finally said before walking away.

"I am really sorry m'lady" Ladybug turned back to looking mad "where the hell where you!?" She asked in a VERY loud volume of voice
"Indoor voice m'lady-"
"WE ARE OUTISDE YOU MORON!"
There was a flicker of silence before chat said "I wanted to come, really! But I got caught up, my dad needed me" Ladybug raised her eyebrow "it's true, he needed to me to..." He started muttering "go to an extra chinese lesson"

"Oh very important" Ladybug said sarcastically "I couldn't get out of it, what excuse would I use huh? I have to go save Paris dressed as a cat so not right now paps?" Ladybug rolled her eyes "I don't get this mad at you when you mess up!" He said "oh when have I ever-" She was quickly reminded of the "adventure" of sorts she'd had with Bunnix a few weeks prior "okay fine-" Chat blinked in suprise, that worked?

"It's so annoying that we can't freaking call eachother unless we're both transformed" Ladybug huffed, it was a very inconvinent conundrum they often fell victim to

"We could communicate like normal people" chat suggested "We talk in person every day" Ladybug said blankly "I mean text, like on our own phones" Ladybug pondered it, wondering if it could be a dangerous idea

"relax, I'm not gonna trace your phone number bugaboo"
Ladybug thought for about another minute before saying "Fine, I trust you"
"Really?"
Ladybug stared at him
"I mean, of course you do, this'll only help us" eh that was partially right.

"Alright, that's my number, don't loose it okay?" Ladybug said pointing to a small slip of paper she had given to chat "and that's my number, don't loose IT" chat smiled, Ladybug just nodded "Alright then, I guess I'll text you later" She waved "Uh-huh please do!" Ladybug smiled "Bug out" she said, like she always did before swinging away

Oh. My. God. Her FREAKING PHONE NUMBER.

Little did they know, their phones already knew those respective numbers... yeah, this'll go well for them.
