Your heart beat in your chest like a drum, the sounds of the wilderness felt almost louder as you searched around you. Finally spotting the shine of a kunai stuck in the ground, you made your move.

Grabbing it as you ran past a small string that was attached snapped, the noise was barely audible. You took a sharp breath in as a onslaught of kunai; some with paper bombs attached, flew your way.

You quickly kicked up a small cloud of dust, just enough to hide yourself from view. Around 50 total kunai disappeared into the smokescreen. Almost instantly setting off the bombs, making the line of sight for everyone nearby even smaller.

On high alert the two other ninja and one dog sat in the trees watching. The dog growled in frustration temperately loosing it's ability to smell.

A sudden yelp was heard as the dog disappeared into the smoke.
"AKAMARU!" One of the Ninja yelled for his companion. Unable to see the Ninjas slowly moved around through the smoke, knowing their enemy couldn't see either.

A few minutes had passed and the dog limped back straight into his master's leg. In a attempt to yelp he flinched back. He had several cuts and his back leg looked broken, he was unable to make any noise either, obviously in a lot of pain, rage grew on the man's face.

Not far away a large ball shaped human rolled around looking for signs of the others. He heard the slight snapping of a branch underfoot and barreled that way, crashing straight into a large white snarling wolf-like creature.

At the impact both fell into a deep hole. Standing at the top of it in a small clear area was a S/C(skin color) male with H/C(hair color) Hair. He held up a bright red ribbon.

"Just give me it and save yourself the trouble choji" the man spoke down to them with a wild grin on his face, confident at his victory.

The boy now known as choji had turned into a more human shape; no longer a large ball. "Sensai is gonna get me meat for this!" As he yelled his hand and arm grew, reaching up the hole and grabbing onto you.

The dust finnaly settled down and the angry boy started stomping towards you, dog in hand. He opened his mouth ready to yell something at you, when akamaru disappeared in a small poof of white smoke.

Dumbstruck the boy looked at where his dog used to be and you a few times. The anger melting off of him as choji climbed out of the hole holding akamaru.

"You can let go of me now you guys won." You said looking ashamed that you failed again. Kiba hugged his dog happy that he was safe. "You shouldn't be so upset about it Y/N, me and choji are a good team for a reason!"

Choji let go of you, his hand shrinking back to normal with the ribbin still on it. "I wouldn't have such a hard time if I wasn't only supposed to be training on the basics all i did was use a few shadow clones and kick up a bit of dirt"

Choji spoke this time "you did really good for just doing the basics though!" "Yeah I guess, I'll see you guys later" you walked off hoping they wouldn't follow you, despite how much you've improved you aren't as good as you hoped, loosing again today took your self esteem down a notch.

As you got to a clearing in the woods you heard some grunting noises. Letting your curiosity get the better of you, you walked towards them.

It was Rock lee, he was training like normal. You sat on a tree branch admiring his ability, you were almost jealous of it. He continued doing his punches as he counted. Beads of sweat dripping off his face, his green jumpsuit was half way off and tied on his waist. You were almost too busy staring at him to realize he noticed you, and was waving at you to come over, his voice snapping you from the trance.
