Where Do I Go From Here

Chapter 9

Everything was a blur after that.

All I remember from the rest of the day was going upstairs and packing.

I was out of it for the rest of the day. I felt terrible all I wanted to do was scream and cry.

I wanted someone to understand how I felt.

Everyone tried to come and comfort but I didn't let them.

I just laid in my bed and stared at the wall.

Eventually I dosed off.

I opened my eyes. And rubbed them.

"Happy Birthday!" Jaden said. I turned my head to look at him. "Thanks" I said dully. Not really in the mood for anything. "Look." He said rubbing the back of his neck and sitting down next to me on my bed. "I know you may feel like today is gonna be terrible. But trust me its only gonna be as bad as you think it is." "Wow. I feel so much better. Sike!" I said annoyed with him. "Didn't let me finish." He shrieked at me. "It will only be as bad as you think it is because you'll only focus on the bad things."

I was dead silent after that.

"Focus on the positive." he said.

He got up and walked to the door. "Thanks." I said. "Welcome."

He was right why focus on the negative if all it's gonna do is bring me down.

I got out of bed grabbed the clothes I picked out and went into the bathroom to do my morning routine. When I got out the bathroom my bags were gone, so I assumed they took hem out side to the cars. I had my hair natural I was wearing black jeggings, a white crop top that said weird in big black letters a hoodie and black converses. I pranced down the steps now in a better mood.

I tell ya, no matter what Jaden can always make me feel better.

I walked into the kitchen to be greeted by the smell of bacon. My stomach growled in anticipation. True looked up from the magazine she was reading and gave me a big toothy smile. "Happy Birthday!" She screamed. Cooper ran in annoyed. "I know it's her birthday and all but do you need to yell." he hollered. Grace looked up from the pan frying the bacon and shushed him. "Why you yelling?" She asked with a smile on her face. I couldn't help but smile at Coopers irritated face. Gotta love my girls, I thought.

I walked in to the dining room full of pack members. "Happy Birthday." Some would say as I passed "Thanks." I'd reply with a smile. I loved everyone in my new pack so much. I don't even know some of them that well but I love um. They mean so much to me. I walked out the back door into the backyard where the the garage was. "Hey birthday girl." Travis said. He and Alex just finished loading the cars. I gave them small waves and a smile.

"When are we leaving?" I asked "Shortly after breakfast." Alex said. "Enough time for you to open your presents." Travis said. I started jumping up and down squealing. I ran straight inside. "Y'all got me gifts." I squealed at Grace, True, Jaden and Cooper who were chilling on the couch in the living room.

"Maybe." Cooper said. "Maybe not." Jaden said with a smirk. Grace had a evil smirk on her face. I gave her a, whatcha do, face. All she did was shake her head. I was starting to squirm I wanted my gifts. Travis walked in and said. "Alright she's waited long enough." I jumped up and down and clapped my hands. "Yea" I screamed.

"Fine." Cooper said as he went to the closet and returned with a box wrapped in dark blue wrapping paper, and a sparkly black bow. I squealed like the happy girl I was. "It's from me and Grace." he said. I ripped the paper off fast. I opened the bow and inside there was a stuffed Domo, a Domo hat, Domo socks, a Domo necklace and a Domo tee-shirt. I ran to them and hugged those crazy kids to death. I loved Domo since I was 5. (My mom bought me a small nerd one cause I thought he was cute.)

Everyone started giving me there presents. True got me 10 pairs really cute fake gauges, Travis got me a new paint set (Love painting!) and Alex gave me a $50 iTunes card cause I have a huge obsession for music. Jaden was last and I was really excited. He handed me a small white box and when I opened it I was amazed.

When I looked in the box I was amazed. Inside was a beautiful necklace. It was a silver chain with a blue diamond shaped like a crescent moon. I got up and ran to Jaden. I hugged him super tightly and thanked him and kissed him all over his face. He put it on my neck for me and I couldn't help but admire it. I was so happy. "Well I guess it's time we say good by to the pack and start heading out." Alex said. I nodded still over joyed with my necklace.

We are taking 2 cars to my old pack. Cooper's pearl white Shevy Suburban and my dark blue Camaro with black racing stripes and black gills. We had a 5 hour drive from here to there not even counting how many times we are gonna stop. We said good bye to all the pack members and they all wished us luck. The boys got in the truck and I was about to start my car when Grace said "I'm driving." I shook my head and hopped into the passengers side. True was already in the back. The boys took the lead driving and we followed close behind.
