The Wife Of the Great Dog Demon (Sesshomaru)

Chapter Two

FLASHBACK 200 YEARS AGO
"My lady the great dog demon of the western lands has arrived," a soldier who bowed at my feet says causing Yumi to smile and stand up from her throne.
"Bring him in," she said to the guards at the door who nodded their heads and opened up the great doors.
Standing in front of her was a man with long silver hair, crescent moon on his forehead, beautiful golden eyes, wearing a pelt of fur, and markings on his cheeks. She could tel he was powerful with the amount of swords he had on his hip.
Next to him was a man similar to him, she would assume that would be his son of the Western lands Sesshomaru. He was elegant in beauty she would give him that. They both bowed beneath there feet as Lady Yumi smiled.
"Arise, what brings you two here to my castle today?"
"My lady we have a proposition for you. As soon as both you and Sesshomaru are married at the age of 18, there will be peace within the lands no longer fighting on who's side is the strongest,"
She couldn't help but laugh causing the great dog demon to frown.
"I will admit your son has striking features Inu no Taisho, but marriage is not on my bucket list,"
"Please my Lady. So many countless lives has been lost due to the raging war between lands, do you not care for your people? Your own men are dying by our hands,"
"And your willing to give up your son so easily?"
"If it means protecting the lands than yes I am. Please consider Lady Yumi,"
"You may speak your thoughts on the matter Sesshomaru,"
"Honestly I wouldn't go along with it if I wasn't forced into it, but if it means to stop the pointless fighting I will go through with it,"
"Than ask me Sesshomaru," Lady Yumi says sitting down on her throne.
Sesshomaru rolled his eyes before walking up the steps to her throne and he got down on one knee.
"Lady Yumi, would you do the honors of becoming the great Lord Sesshomaru's wife?"
"I-"
END OF FLASHBACK
"YUMI!" Sesshomaru shouted causing her to blink back to reality.
"W-what happened?"
"You tell me. You were staring at the water so long not moving or even speaking. You had me worried darling,"
She smiled as she closed her eyes.
"Oh I'm okay Sesshomaru. A memory popped up of our first meeting. When you asked me to become your wife,"
He smiled at that as it genially bring him joy.
"Yes I do remember it like it was yesterday when in fact it's been almost 200 years now,"
"Our 201 year anniversary is coming up that's why I thought of it,"
"Is it already? We just celebrated our 200th year anniversary,"
"Time flys Sesshomaru," she says giggling causing him to smile.
The smile instantly wiped off his face however, when a giant purple demon with red eyes sprung from the trees.
"Lord Sesshomaru bring me that girl!" He shouted as Sesshomaru harshly pushed Yumi behind him protectively.
In one swipe with his green whip however, the demon was instantly split in half.
"You alright?" Sesshomaru asked turning to face his wife as he scanned her for any injuries.
This caused Yumi to laugh.
"I'm perfectly fine Lord Sesshomaru. I have you to protect me after all," Yumi says placing her lips onto his.
Sesshomaru brought his guard down as he wrapped her in his arms and kissing her back. This woman, his woman, is the only thing that can make him feel weak, if anything were to happen to his Yumi he wouldn't know what to do with himself. He couldn't possibly live without her by his side now.
Yumi  broke the kiss to breath as she placed her arms around his waist.
"Thank you for saving me Sesshomaru,"
"Always," he responded causing her to smile as she gripped onto his kimono tighter.
"Let's continue," he says as they continued on walking side by side.
A little while later Yumi's stomach began to growl causing Sesshomaru to look at his wife.
"You are hungry?" He mentions as it was nearing night.
She blushed.
"I might be.... Sorry about that,"
"No need to apologize dear, I will accompany you on catching a Boar?"
She licked her lips.
"A boar sounds tasty,"
"I know what else is tasty," he smirked causing her to blush a deep red.
"SESSHOMARU!" She yelled out of pure embarrassment.
