The Wife Of the Great Dog Demon (Sesshomaru)

Chapter Twenty-Six

Yumi finally awoken with pain in her back. She noticed she was in different clothes as she sat up in the unfamiliar bed.

"Where am I?"

"In the castle, but don't fret your precious husband is on his way here," a new voice says.

"Kagura?"

"In the flesh," she says holding her fan above her face.

"What do you plan to do with my husband?"

"Oh you'll see. It's a constructive plan he has planned out,"

"Give me a reason I shouldn't kill you now," she growled.

"Kill me and Rin dies too,"

Yumi's eyes widened.

"Wait she's here?! Where is she?!"

"She's safe with Kohaku while I've been given instructions to look after you,"

"Take me to Rin, now!" Yumi shouted with her eyes glowing red.

Kagura looked at her with a blank stare unimpressed.

"Does she mean that much to you? A human child? Why would two dog demons care so much?"

"Because we love her like she's our own, she's innocent, she can fend for herself, she doesn't ask questions, she listens and overall she has a big heart. She's something you would never understand! And besides I'm not sure what you got planned but Sesshomaru and I already discussed this,"

"Oh really? And what's that?"

Before Yumi could answer, the door swings open to reveal Naraku himself as he had a wicked grin on his face.

"Oh the tragedy that'll soon fall upon the married couple, Sesshomaru will never see you again," Naraku says picking Yumi up by the shirt and dragging her out.

Once outside the castle there Sesshomaru stood with an angered and determined look on his face. He was staring at Yumi, who Naraku had a tight grip on, she couldn't get out of his hold no matter what she tried to do he was not letting her go.

"Kohaku," Naraku mentioned as Kohaku appeared with an unconscious Rin.

"R-R-Rin!" Yumi struggled to say as Kohaku had his weapon raised in the air while Naraku held onto Yumi's throat tighter, crushing her wind pipe.

"What will it be Sesshomaru? Who gets to die today?" Naraku asks Laughing as Yumi found herself becoming blurry.

Sesshomaru had gripped the hilt of his sword remembering the conversation he had with his wife.

"I love you too Sesshomaru, promise me, promise me you'll choose Rin over me, and you'll come back for me,"

Sesshomaru sighs as Yumi held onto him tighter.

"I promise,"

The memory faded as Sesshomaru heard his wife gasp when he threw her on the ground.

"Kohaku, if Sesshomaru doesn't choose you know what to do,"

Kohaku, who was underneath Naraku's orders raised his scythe up in the air ready to strike down Rin as he brought it down, but suddenly the weapon was out of his hand by a green whip as Sesshomaru went to fight Naraku instead however he had other plans as he only grew taller with tenticle spread out everywhere. Before Sesshomaru could strike, Kohaku had went after his weapon and was running back to Rin with it full speed.

The orders of killing her raging through his mind as Sesshomaru blocked his attack at Rin full speed.

"ONLY ONE IS WALKING AWAY TODAY!" Naraku laughed as he looked to see his wife slowly losing light in her eyes.

'Choose Rin' Yumi mouthed as Sesshomaru closed his eyes tight.

He knew he was out numbered, out matched but still be fore he could do anything else.....

"RED TENSEIGA!" The voice of Inuyasha was heard as the barrier surrounded the place was cut down.

Sesshomaru was shocked to see Inuyasha and his gang appear before him panting and out of breath. Naraku growled as His plans have been demolished for the time being.

"NARAKU YOU SICK BASTARD LET THE CHILD AND MY SISTER IN LAW GO!" Inuyasha yelled holding up his sword.

"HOW DARE YOU TRY TO TAKE HIS WIFE AWAY FROM HIM!" Kagome was next to yell as she shot an arrow, causing Naraku to place up a barrier while holding onto Yumi.

"YOU MESSED WITH MY BEST FRIEND!" Sango yelled throwing her boomerang Hiraikotsu as the barrier only rejected it.

Growling Naraku held onto the unconscious Yumi as he started floating away with the barrier.

"NO YOU DONT!" Inuyasha  yelled jumping up after him. "WIND SCAR!" He shouted as Kagome got another arrow out.

"HIT THE MARK!" She yelled unleashing it as Naraku's eyes widened when the two powers was able to break open his barrier.

"This was not part of the plan," he lowly growls angered at Inuyasha and his gang.

"Think we care?! Give back Yumi you bastard! Your out numbered and out matched!"

"Outnumbered?" He says as an evil laugh followed.

"No Inuyasha it is you who is outnumbered," Naraku said as one of his tenticles flew past Inuyasha heading straight towards the unconscious Rin.

Sesshomaru, who was engaged in battle with Kohaku saw the incoming attack and quickly pushed the boy back as he raced towards Rin just as the Tenticle pierced him in the abdomen.

"SESSHOMARU!" The others yelled as they couldn't believe their eyes at the demon lord.
