The Wife Of the Great Dog Demon (Sesshomaru)

Chapter Thirty-Three

"LADY KAEDE!" The group of villagers yelled as screaming could be heard outside her hut.

Kaede sighed as she opened up the flap of her house as her eyes widened as a giant dog demon was seen in front of her house. It growled at her as she stared right into her eyes.

"Wait a minute..... Yumi?" She asked as if it was Sesshomaru the dog would have had a crescent moon on its head and this one does not.

She whined before crouching down showing the injured Sesshomaru. Kaede gasped before running towards him.

"Sesshomaru?"

"Yumi didn't give me a choice but to come back here," he said as Kaede helped him down from Yumi.

Once he was off Yumi had a cloud of smoke surrounding her before she came out as regular demon dog again.

"Sorry about that Kaede, could you please help my husband his foolishness of not healing before coming to get me got to him, he's in desperate need of help,"

"I'm not desperate Yumi," he denies before grunting in pain.

"Clearly you are in pain Sesshomaru come inside the both of ye,"

A little while later Yumi was watching over Sesshomaru who was asleep. Kaede gave him some herbs, a special medicine for healing and wrapped him up in bandages.

"You are not sleeping child?" Kaede asked coming in the room with some soup for both her and herself.

"First of all I'm not a child as long as I've been on this earth that is far from what I am, second of all I can't sleep knowing my husband is in pain, I need to stay awake and watch over him," she said before taking the soup as she began eating.

"I see, the last I heard you were with Naraku, I'm glad Sesshomaru can find you he goes frantic without you around,"

This caused Yumi to chuckle at Kaede.

"He's very protective of me and gets lost without me, I've remained by his side for so many years he doesn't know how to function without me," she said while grabbing onto his hand. "I haven't had the chance to properly thank you Kaede, so Hank you for helping us demons,"

"I help anyone who needs the help. Demons, humans, half demons, even people from another time. Your welcome Yumi, glad I was able to assist but you should get some rest before morning,"

"I will be alright thank you Kaede,"

She smiled as she got up once she was finished with her food.

"Alright see you in the morning,"

So throughout the night Yumi had looked after Sesshomaru not once closing her eyes for a bit of rest even when she was exhausted. She needed to know that he was okay as days turned into nights with Sesshomaru only being asleep. The only time Yumi moved was when she needed to eat but Kaede could clearly see the bags under Yumi's eyes. The dog demon hasn't slept in 4 days.

Kaede has been redressing his wounds and could see the hole practically closing up, it was a fast improvement then again Sesshomaru is the mighty dog demon.

"Yumi, you need sleep," Kaede said as Yumi turned her head towards her as she was rebadging the wounds. "It's been four days now,"

She shook her head.

"Not until Sesshomaru wakes up,"

"Don't be a stubborn dog, Yumi, your body will shut down for not resting properly,"

"I SAID IM FINE!" She snapped eyes glowing red before she gasped.

"I'm sorry I don't mean to snap..... I just.... Sesshomaru," she says tears pooling around her eyes. "He's been so still for 4 days I miss him,"

"Let him rest Yumi, the medicine I gave him sleeps until he's fully healed, he should be up by tomorrow morning, his hole is closed completely now,"

"What amazing news! Thank you Kaede!"

"Now rest child, please he will be awake before you know it," Kaede said as Yumi still shook her head as she smiled throughout her tiredness.

"No, if he awakes by morning I need to see it. I can't sleep if he's not okay,"

This caused Kaede to sigh. Yumi is just as Stubborn as Sesshomaru. Those two were definitely made for each other.

"Alright if you say so Yumi," Kaede said smiling before leaving to her room.

She could stay up one more night couldn't she? She just wants to see her husband awake and smiling at her, prepping her with kisses and love. However her eyes were failing her as she couldn't take it anymore and collapsed on top of Sesshomaru's chest.
