The Wife Of the Great Dog Demon (Sesshomaru)

Chapter Forty-Eight

"Wow! This place is beautiful!" Yumi stated as soon as they touched down on the land.

They finally made it to Kagura's location and Yumi can smell her scent much better than before.

"I must admit it is okay," he said as the two took a look around the place.

Suddenly wind blades were coming at them as Yumi gasped but Sesshomaru grabbed her as the two were in the air.

"Kagura!" Yumi shouted out as she walked from behind a tree.

She kept fanning her blade as more blades came out, Sesshomaru dodged them by moving swiftly with Yumi in his arms.

"Kagura enough! We're trying to save you!"

"You fool! You should've stayed where you were, I don't need saving but you do!"

"What?" Yumi asked shocked.

"DANCE OF THE DRAGON!" She yelled as tornado twisters came at them.

Sesshomaru moved left and right lightning speed not a single twister hitting them. Not as long as his wife and unborn child are in danger.

"YOU DAMNED FOOL SIT STILL!" Kagura yelled throwing out her blades and twisters at the same time.

Yumi was screaming as it became too much for Sesshomaru to dodge it all at once. He groaned as a blade sliced open his shoulder.

"SESSHOMARU!" Yumi shouted from his arms.

"You can't fight as long as your holding me! You need to let me go!"

"No! I'm not doing that! We came here to save her and now shes-"

"Look out!" Yumi yelled as Sesshomaru dodged a twister coming her way.

"Kagura stop! Why are you doing this?! We are trying to help you!"

"I don't need your help!" She yelled back determination in her eyes. "LEAVE NOW OR I WILL KILL YOU!"

"Kagura please let us help you," Yumi begged tears lingering in her eyes.

"As long as Naraku holds my heart there is no help for me but if you really wish for me to stay alive come with me to Naraku,"

"Your so full of it Kagura you were willing to let us go before what's changed?" Sesshomaru asked as the wound was still bleeding from his shoulder.

Kagura had a fearless look on her face with her weapon raised in the air ready to strike, however she sighed placing her fan down. No matter how hard she tried she couldn't do it, she has to accept it that her death is near.

"I can't do this, Kanna told me if I didn't get you now Naraku will kill me,"

"Well let's come up with some sort of plan then,"

"What plan?" She asked as Sesshomaru landed on the ground and carefully got Yumi out of his arms.

"How about we stage a kidnapping?"

"Not following," Kagura said as she sighed.

"You pretend to kidnap me, you and Sesshomaru have a face off about it, and when you are flying away Sesshomaru follows after you and then once that happens he goes inside the castle, looks for your heart without Naraku detecting his scent and gets it and hands it to you and bam! Your free of Naraku's control!"

"One problem though how is Sesshomaru going to not be detected by his scent?"

"Hmmmm Sesshomaru would have to figure that part out," Yumi said causing him to sigh.

"I don't know about this Yumi there you go putting our child and you at risk again for the sake of her,"

"Could you have faith in me at least once Sesshomaru?" She asked turning to face him with her hands on her hips.

Sesshomaru stared into her bright blue eyes who was full of determination and will power to save this woman in front of him.

He may not know what exactly happened with her time with Naraku but he knows she never felt this strongly for Kagura before then.

The two must have deeply bonded, he concluded for her to go out of her way to Save and wish for Kagura to be alive.

Sesshomaru looks at her belly next, the baby bump that was showing indicating that she was indeed pregnant with his child either Inumaru or Saome which he is hoping for Inumaru for he will be the next heir to the western lands once Sesshomaru passes.

He sighed deeply as he closed his eyes only to open him to see that Yumi was still staring at him.

"Yumi..... I don't approve of this but if it's the only way to save Kagura than so be it, I have my faith that you know what your doing just don't get killed or our child," he said as Yumi beamed with happiness.

"OH THANK YOU SESSHOMARU!" She said about to go hug him but winced at the sliced open shoulder that now has dried blood on it.

Sesshomaru looked to see what she was looking at.

"It's nothing Yumi don't worry about it," he said before opening his arms out wide as she smiled again before running to meet him as the two embraced one another in a hug.
