Samantha's POV

I didn't say a word after Alyssa introduced us. I stormed out of their place dragging all my stuff. Just being here is wrong.

"Sam! Sam, where are you going?" I did not stop. I walk faster.

"Back home. And I mean Palawan. This is too crazyfor me, okay?" I said. I'm really mad. Really really mad right now.

"I walked straight into the middle of something here!" I shouted at her. I just felt betrayed that she didn't tell me her girlfriend is pregnant and they're having a baby.

"Look, it's all fine, honestly. Alexa and I just needed to air some stuff!" She said huh the nerve she got to even drag me into this.

"Oh, good, I'm glad you'refine, 'cause I'm not! We were out together the whole night, Alyssa!  And all the while your girlfriend was at home expecting a baby!" I'm mad because why am I even here for.
"

And you didn't say!"

"Come on, Sam. Nothing happened, we were just...We were just having some fun." She said referring to us almost kissing.

"That's what you got me over here for then? Just some fun?" I ask her sarcastically. What am I to you reall Ly?

She said shouting back at me. If this is us normally talking I would be really touch but we're not.

"Or maybe you needed someone from your old life to point out the truth!" I said to her. I don't care anymore.

"What truth?" Alyssa ask confused.

"You're in a mess, Alyssa! This whole situation is one big bloody giant mess!" I said pointing her life out.

"Me? I'm in a mess?" She said obliviously.

"And you're in denial!" I shouted.

"You're projecting!" She shouted back.

"Okay, can we just stop the psychobabble here and just talk like decent people, please!" I did not respond. I just remained standing breathing heavily.

"Fine! Fine! Fine. Fine. Look. I was worried you might find it hard, you know, coming here.

Hard? I mean, you've had a tough time, Sam,and seeing where we live, you know, our apartment, our lifestyle, it's just..." She didn't finished her sentence and just look at me.

" Okay! You thought I was jealous of you? No. I pity you, Ly! All I see is someone compensatingfor a crap personal life by schmoozing her way up the career ladder!"I told her out of spite.

" Crap personal life? All right, let's see. Um, stable relationship with beautiful girlfriend, lots in common, a great circle of friends, and a kid on the way, who's gonna have two parents,by the way, not one!" She said. So that's what she think of me and Zarie all along. Until it sinks in to her all she said.

" Sam, come on, I..." I turned my back in her and continued walking.

" Forget it, Alyssa! Go ahead and climb your greasy pole!" I said and force her to let go of my hand.

"You know, I will!" She shouted.

" Just don't come whinging to me when you realize you're empty inside." I clenched my fist and firmly grip my luggage trying hard for my voice not to break.

"No danger of that! "She shouted.

" Good!"

" Excellent!"

" Fantastic! "
