Roseline's pv
I wake up in the morning feeling a little tired but ok because of the medicine I took yesterday in the night, I decide to take it again this morning. I take a bath and go down stairs to have breakfast, I see my family already eating at the dinning table, I greet them then take a seat and start eat my bread eggs and tea.
"How are you feeling now honey?" My dad ask
"Am ok I guess" I answer
"Thank God for that good kid that helped you, he is an angel indeed." My mum adds
I look at her with an annoyed face, I can't believe she already likes him when she barely knows him.
"So what are you going to do today?. I mean we have been in this country for like a month now and you have not gone anywhere apart from school". My dad says looking worried at me.
"Maybe I could go to the mall and do some shopping, or go get something to eat and go to the beach".
"Waw, that's a lot, coming from you, maybe u could invite that nice boy, I mean I think he has friends that are from here, they can show you around, what's his name again?". My mum says
"Mum!!, I can't believe you, you really have to stop talking about him, it's annoying you know, and you don't even know him, how can you allow a total stranger to go out with your daughter that's unbelievable". I say annoyed.
"Well young lady, he did not see you as a total stranger before helping you yesterday, did he?. She asks me and I remained quite.
" Ok since you don't want him to give you a tour, I won't bother you ok?". She asks
"Thank you". I answer feeling relieved.
When I finished eating my breakfast, I go up to the room and change into a simple flowery gown that ended me just above my knee, then I wore a pair of flats and left my room, am going for my own self exploration of this town I don't need anybody's help, well except that I will have my GPS Incase I get lost. I tell my parents am going and left the house.
I start my journey by going to the mall, I sent about 1hour there and I bought a lot of stuff, I rush back home to keep them but making my presence unnoticed.
I then dash out as quick as possible to continue my day as it was going perfectly.
I go to the beach and enjoyed the sun children playing and I even swimmed, I was really enjoying my day.
I went to get something to eat but as I was walking and admiring the place I bumped into someone.
He was really tall, blond hair, good figure u can see it from the bodycon t-shirt he wore, he had blue baby eyes, he looked so handsome and innocent at the same time.
"Sorry" he said.
That woke me up from my fantasy land.
"Am sorry to it was my fault I was not looking" I say nervous.
"It's okay, are you new in town? He asks.
"Why ask" I answer curiously.
"Because you look like someone who is new, it's written all over you" he says.
"Oh" I reply
"So are you new" he asks again.
"Yeah, I am" I answer.
" Okay then your very much welcome to our town, it's very lovely here, I should invite you to a party am having at my place, am sure you will like it, and by the way it's a beach party so it will be in the afternoon and it's very convenient. Am saying so because you look like someone who does not go out at night".
I just laugh at his last statement.
"Seriously am I that open, that anyone can read through me".
I ask curiously and worried.
"Oh no, that's not the point, am just really good at reading people ". He says proudly.
"Oh" I say
"So you in?" He ask.
"Sure, what day and time?" I ask.
" Sunday at 4pm at the Wilson's mansion, everybody knows it, so when coming just ask around " he says.
"Waw I didn't know I am talking to a rich kid" I say
"Yeah I get that a lot, am JAKE WILSON by the way, sorry for not introducing myself " then he smiles so sweetly.
I think I just made a new friend.
"Am Roseline" I say not really telling him my family name, just in case.
"Okay then see you on sunday" I say.
"Yeah, good bye and have a fun day" he says
"Thanks and same to you". I say and then walk in the restaurant.
When I was done eating I go back to the house and all I could thing about was the guy with baby blue innocent eyes.
