CHAPTER 9

Bip!! bip!!!bip!!!!bip!!!!!...

"Ahhh, I can't believe it's already Monday, my sweet sweet bed, am going to miss you for another 8hours"
I wake up from my bed with a grumble and go to the shower and bath, I decide to wear a black skinny belly Jean and a white crop pullover hoddie, pairing it with my black snikers, I tire my hair in a high pony tail, it was so cute, and the first time I've dressed like an actual high school student since I came here.

"Good morning mum, good morning Dad, I say  while kissing their chicks.

"Wawwww, someone's dressed today"  my mum says.

"I hope no one influence you in that party that you went to, it's good to dress but not because you want to dress like someone or want to impress a particular person".

"No dad, I just decided to dress up today, I fell more alive and classy today". I say and my dad just nods.

" Don't mind your dad sweet heart, you look fabulous " My mum has always been the one to support changes happening to me.

"THANKS MUM!, And thanks for the breakfast too, am going now, don't want to be late for school bye!!" I say while taking a sandwish and running out of the door.

I was actually early for school, I just left the house because I didn't need one of my dad's never ending lectures about being yourself and forget about the opinions of  others. I don't really care about their opinion I like being me, sometimes positive change is good.

I arrive at school at exactly 7:00am, and students were already gathered in groups, chatting about their weekend and how they spend it, what new food they ate, what new adventure or trouble they got into. It's at this point in time where I discover I am alone in this school and I have to put more effort in making at least a friend here, no matter how difficult it is.

As I walk to my locker all eyes just stared at me, that made me feel insecure so I just hurriedly went to my locker and open i,  take my books and as I locked and turn to go to class I bump into someone.

"Ahh"

"Sorry are you ok?" The familiar voice asks me.

"Yeah, I am..."

"Roseline?"

That's when I looked up and discovered that I had bumped into Jake.

"Jake!", I say excitedly

"Do you go to this school too?" He asks

"Yes I do" I was so surprised seeing him here that i did not notice the hard glares the girls where giving me.

"So are you like new here, cus I've never seen you in school" he asks me.

" Yes actually, I started last week" I say

"Oh, no wonder I didn't notice you" he says then leans down close to my ear.

"By the way, you look really hot today". He says and my face flushed bright pink, he just looked and smiled at me.

"Thanks" I struggle to say.

" Why don't you join me for lunch, I can introduce you to my friends" he says.

"What?" I could not believe he just asked me to have dinner with the cool kids, waw like really that's amazing.

"Yeah, we are friends right?" He asks

"Yeah?" I half answered half asks, then he laughs.

"You really know how to make me smile, and let me tell you it's difficult for people to make me smile"

"Okay" I just answer.

"And also am not asking for your opinion your my friend now so your siting with me"  he says.

"Oh, okay, but I hope I won't bother you in any way". I say a little insecure.

" Oh am sure your going to take all the attention away from me but I will excuse you just for today" he says then he laughs.

Then the bell rings, signaling for class to start, just great.

"Okay then, see you during launch" he says.

"Okay then, bye" I say too before we parted ways
