Since Fred came to this school he's been getting a lot of attention from girls and guys and I don't like it. I mean he's all over the place, I mean look at him, he has made more friends than me and that makes me so mad.
I mean am a social person but it's been really hard making friends in this new place, maybe am jealous maybe not, no one can tell.
He's been trying to get my attention all week but I've just ignored him, I don't want to get into trouble especially with a guy.

It's Friday and I've been practicing all week, I've been informed that the rehearsals will take place in the basket ball court, I hope we don't disturb the basketballers, because being embarrassed is just not in my bucket list this year.

The rehearsals started and all who came to sing sang perfectly, I almost lost my confidence but I just prayed and regained it back.
It was finally my turn, thank God I was not the last it would have been somehow for me.

When our choir mistress called my name I come Infront of her and start to sing my song titled "Scars to your beautiful"by Alessia Cara.
And as I finished the song I heard a loud cheer which I did not thing came from the small crowd I was among, that's when I turned my head and saw the boy basket ball team all cheering for me and guess who was the leader of the cheer group "Fred" A.K.A lastest popular guy in school and the dream guy of all the girls in school, well that's except me of course. And then I did the unspeakable, I fainted, not because I was tired but because I was too embarrassed and it all went down hill into the dark tunnel.

I opened my eyes to see brightness and I noticed I was in somewhere strange then I felt someone's hand on my hand, I turned to look at the person and then I saw Fred I can't believe it, I got up from the bed as I was about to make a run for it I felt Fred grab me by my waist and turned me so quick it make the both of us fall on the bed , him on me and in a not so friendly position, then the worst happened someone slammed the door open and it was my mum. My mum was shocked and angry at the same time to see me in that kind of position with a guy.

I pushed Fred off me and then pretended as if I was in some kind of pain that instantly swept the angry out of my mum's face and turned it into worry.

"O my God Rose what happened?"

"Are you alright?"

"Do you need anything!"

"Where does it hurt?" She asked worriedly, even though it was wrong of me to do that but I could not allow her to get angry for what she saw that was not true, it was unfair to me so technically we are even.

"The nurse said she will be alright, and that she fainted because she was shocked". Fred said without worry or guilt in his tone, actually he was calm, waw, am sure he's a pro in this kinds of awkward  situations.

"Mum am alright, why did u come here?". I asked trying to take her mind off fred.

" Your teacher called me, and am glad I came, I hope your alright honey". She answers.

"Am fine Mum no need to worry, am as strong as an ox you know".
I said proudly.

"But you fell like a wall" I heard someone comment and I know that someone is Fred .

"Thank you for bringing my daughter to the nurse office, even though I saw you too in a very wonderful position but I will just let that slide for today". My mum said gratefully.

"Mum it was a mistake, I was just about to ..."

"It's nothing madam and it won't repeat it's self again". I heard Fred interrupt me.

"That's good, you seem like a good boy why don't you come over for dinner sometime". My mum asked him and I could not believe my ears ,and I know it's out of been generous, that's my mum but why him of all guys.

"I will have to decline your offer madam, I did that because she is my classmate and nothing more". Fred answered.

" Oh so you guys are even class mates that's very good that means.."
I interrupted her before she could finish her sentence.

" No mum, as he said he is declining maybe because he is busy and does not have time for dinner, right?.
I asked Fred with hope in my voice.

" That's right madam I won't be able to make it, but thank you for the offer anyway I will like to take my leave now" Fred answered.

"Oh that's ok son you can go and attend your classes, thank you again for helping my daughter". My mum answers.

"Thank you". I said to him, he turned and look at me for a few seconds, nodded and left the room.

" He is a nice young man". My mum says.

"Everyone is good in your eyes mum". I answered her and we laughed.

Later that day I was discharged and was excused for the day so I could go home and rest.
And thank God my mum did not ask about that incident, it means she really meant it when she said she will let it slide.

I got home and took my bath, ate with my family then drank some medicine for my head and went to sleep.
Thank God tomorrow is a week end.
