CHAPTER 10

(Bell rings )

"Finally" I say to my self and hurryly pack my things so I could go have lunch.
As I step out of the classroom door and was about to head toward the cafeteria I bump into someone  AGAIN, Like WHY me.

"Sorry " the familiar voice says.

"It's okay it's my fault" I say before lifting my head up to see no one other that FRED, you have to be kidding me now.

"Luck is on my side today" he says with a cute smile, I can't believe I just said that.

"Bye" I say while turning again to go to the bathroom for no reason.

"Rose wait!, Could we at least have lunch together, so we could get to know each other, I mean I know we started on the wrong foot but I would really like that we should start all over again" he says with genuine words, I almost felt for that.

"No thank you and good bye" I say finally leaving his presence and make my way to the bathroom.

What is Fred's problem by the way, does he get whatever he wants whenever he wants, well am a loss case over hear and he better not waste more of his time on me.

I do my business and leave the bathroom, then I head over to the cafeteria, I almost forgot that I had to sit with Jake and his friends for lunch today, so as I took my foot and was on my way to the back tables I heard Jake's voice.

"Rose, over here!" He shouts so I could here and that caused almost half of the students in the cafeteria attention to be on me. I just bend my head a little and walked over to him.

"Hey" I greeted Jake.

"Hi, so guys this is the beauty I told you all about the other day, Rose the guys, guys Rose" he introduced us.

"Jake your a real dumbass, who introduced people like that" one cute guy says.

"That's right, like do you want her to refer to everyone here as guys" one other guy with a small subtle says and the whole table erupted with fits of laughter. I too found myself laughing .

"Please don't mind them have a sit next to me". Jake says with a little smile.

"By the way Rose I'm called Derick" the cute guy who spoke first says .

"Nice to meet you Derick" and answer .

"And am James", the one with the subtle says.

"Nice to meet you James" and that's how it went on, Jake had 7 friends as of what I've seen, Derick, James, Andrew, Cody, Steve, Paul, and Edmond and they are all so handsome I could melt in their presence, I feel so intimidated but they don't let off that scary cocky bad boy vibes around me, they are all friendly and I like that.

As I was enjoying my meal with them while having a conversation, someone  sat on the seat to my left which was empty I turn to look at who sat there and I saw Fred, I officially think this guy is stalking me.

"What took you so long" Jake asks him .

"I just had some business to take care of" he says without joy in his tone.

"Oh, I hope it went well" Jake's answers with concern.

"Same old same old" Fred replies.

"Hello Rose, I told you, Luck is on my side today" he says with a breathtaking smile and I almost got lost in it.

"Hi" is all I said before I found my apple very interesting.

"So Rose we are having a hangout at Edmond's place after school, do you want to join us, it's going to be fun, trust me". Jake says to me with hope in his eyes, and I really didn't want to be the one to kill it so I accept.

"Sure, but I will have to leave early,  maybe I will stay only for 1hr 30minutes, because I have things to do at home today" I say to him.

"God bless you, you won't regret it, and I will make sure you have fun today, like a welcome party to the grouo" he says and smiles.

School was finally over and I could not wait to go to Edmond's house for the hangout, I mean it was my first hangout here, even though I just realised that all my outings are because of Jake, he is God sent, like I would have died of boredom here, I mean I don't know anywhere here.

As I step out the doors of the school I spot Jake and Fred beside a BMW car and a motor bike, waw, am start to think am socialising with Rich kids here, I walk over to them.

"hey guys" I greet them.

"Oh no, Jake this is all your fault" Derick interrupts Jake before he could even talk.

"And what's my fault" Jake asks confused.

"Now she's calling us all guys" as he said this everyone start laughing, did  he think I would walk over to them and greet them one by one, oh no that's not happening.

"Dumbass that's" Jake says and laughs. Meanwhile a certain someone has not said anything and is just intensely staring at me.

"So if everyone's  here let's get moving " Jake announces and that's when I realized that i don't have a ride.

"Rose you can ride with me and I promise I will be careful" Jake tells me and I turn to see where he was going to, Oh no he was the owner of the motor bike, I've never ridden those so am kind of scared, but I will try and trust Jake, I hope I don't regret it.

"Ok" I go to him and he hands me an extra helmet.

"Feel free to enter with your shoes " he says to me and smirks and I laugh, that was a good one.

"Oh I will" and that's how we took off.
