day three - part four

Staring out of the windows, Nam-ra closes the camera after the couple has done recording their part, she looks at her best friend and the boy that she considers friend.

"Su-Hyeok ah.." Nam-ra's voice earned their attention, "I don't know why you are doing this.." She told him, after all she is just their class president and the friend of Hye-Yoon.

They watched as Nam-ra lowered her head, he turned to his girlfriend to see her concerns for their class president, letting out a sigh he replied, "because the others are really scared.." he stated.

Nam-ra looked up, "aren't you scared?" She asked him, he looked between Nam-ra and Hye-Yoon before nodding his head, "mm-mm.." he replied, kissing Hye-Yoon's forehead.

"Why?" Nam-ra asked again, she was confused about why out of everyone. He would defend them, "because.." He trailed going back and forth between his girlfriend and friend.

"Because I'm just not.." His words startled her, she thought the only people who would care were Hye-Yoon, "You know.. how I said I wanted to bite you earlier right alongside Hye-Yoon.." She started.

"It's alright, it's in the past now.." He reminds her, he won't be honest but it scares him, he doesn't wanna die in their arms.

"I know that Hye-Yoon and I felt like daydreaming.." She ignored him, continuing talking, "you were giving off such a delicious scent.. I can't hold myself but I remember Hye-Yoon.." She trailed.

"What kind?" He asks her while holding onto Hye-Yoon, her head pressed on his chest while he listens to Nam-ra's explanation, "It smells like meat and all I could think about was eating you.."

"But your voice calling out for Hye-Yoon woke me up, it's weird but it's like Hye-Yoon pulled me back into reality.." She told him, Su-Hyeok didn't know how to explain but a sigh slid from his lips.

"I know.." He paused and earned her attention while holding onto Hye-Yoon that passed out in his arms, "You like her and I know I can't beat you when it comes to her.." He says.

"I used to hang out with bullies.." He adds, "And I don't get good grades.. but then when I saw her, I felt like I should change and be a better person," He let out, Nam-ra looked at him unable to express her feelings, "but when she said yes, I knew. I should be better and that is why I try to befriend you, you're her best friend."

Nam-ra blinks, "and I am glad to be your friend and glad you didn't leave Hye-Yoon when she needed someone." He finished, turning his head back to the window. Hye-Yoon snuggled into Su-Hyeok, glad knowing that she was safe.

"I am glad." She spoke, "I'm glad that I get to hear that before I.. I die.." She adds, smiling.

"And I am glad that she is finally happy." She whispers, smiling softly at the sight of her best friend in the arms of the man she's been crushing on secretly.

The clock was ticking, Hye-Yoon found herself dreaming. She couldn't move her body when her eyes met Su-Hyeok, he was yelling for her to save him but she couldn't move. The scene in front of her changes, Nam-ra standing beside Su-Hyeok's dead body with her face soaking with blood, "I'm sorry, I was hungry.." Nam-ra says before she ran towards Hye-Yoon causing her to jolt in her dream and straighten her back as she fell down to the floor.

"Hye-Yoon ah.." Su-Hyeok looks down at her, worried when growling coming from the distance earns both Nam-ra and Hye-Yoon attention.

Nam-ra stood up while Su-Hyeok faced her, "What?" He asked her, "My hearing.." Hye-Yoon interrupts, "I heard something strange." Nam-ra continues facing the red blinds, Hye-Yoon quickly stands on her feet as Nam-ra leads them towards the blinds making the rest be alert of the two of them.
