BEFORE THE APOCALYPSE

Im Hye-Yoon walks around the town of Hyosan with Lee Su-Hyeok holding onto her hand, they passed a lot of their friends' parents as well, but none of them seem to notice that they were holding hands.

It has been two month since the day Su-Hyeok asked her to be his girlfriend, and today is the day of their monthsary and Su-Hyeok insists that he spend the night with her since her father is once again away for business trips.

"Su-Hyeok ah, why don't we just celebrate at my house? You know more privacy for us. . ." Hye-Yoon questions her boyfriend, it has been nothing but a wonderful and great secret relationship behind their classmates especially to her best friend On-Jo and I-Sak. They've asked her why she's been busy and rarely shows up after school at their favorite place, but all Hye-Yoon replied was her father asking for her, which is a total lie.

Su-Hyeok turns to his girlfriend with a grin, "we've been dating for two month, I want to spoil you because you've been nothing but a wonderful and supportive girlfriend." He told her while rubbing on her thumbs.

Actually, he's been feeling like she's mad at him because of the chocolate and secret admirer letters. He knows that she doesn't mind much but he can see it through her eyes whenever girls put their stuff on his table as a way to confess their feelings but the truth is, he was the one jealous.

"Are you sure? You know I don't mind simple stuff and surprises right. . . ?" She questions him, it's obvious that he only does that when he feels jealous.

She knows him for such a long time from being neighbors, school friends, classmates and now boyfriend. Su-Hyeok is jealous because of the gifts she received in today's class, valentines surely not his favorite day.

"Or are you jealous that you couldn't give me any chocolate today at class?" She teases him, nudging his shoulder.

He faces her, glaring softly but stops when she flashes him a wide grin while leaning dangerously close to his face, "oh~ you are~" she coed, teasing him. He wanna deny it but he couldn't because even if he does, she would find out naturally.

"Why do you even take their gift..." He asked her, "Why can't you just give it to someone? You know I'll give yours at the end right?" He told her curious why can't she give hers away while he can give his away freely.

Hye-Yoon scoffed, "I didn't even take any, at the end I gave all to Dae-su and Wu-Jin." She explained.

Sometimes, she feels like she's the man in the relationship and Su-Hyeok is the woman. He feels more insecure than she is when with him, that just doesn't make sense.

"Really?" Su-Hyeok asked her, "For real?" He asked her for confirmation. Hye-Yoon rolled her eyes and nodded her head, "yes, if you don't believe me. You can ask Nam-ra." She dared him.

At the mention of Nam-ra's name, the girl that was in her room suddenly sneezed, "hmm.." Nam-ra sighs, wiping her nose.

Back with the couple, Su-Hyeok nods his head believing her. Whenever Hye-Yoon brings up Nam-ra's name, it will always turn out to be true because she watches Hye-Yoon 24/7 when they are in school. Nam-ra is like the mother and also her guardian angel because she takes care of her, even as her boyfriend, she wouldn't listen to him.

"So now forget that and let me buy you some stuff, I wanna spoil you today and you can't say no." He warned her and soon pulled her towards each store he could find to buy her stuff that caught her attention. At first she refused because some are so expensive but by the look he's sending her, she really can't deny it.

The couple went from one shop to another until her hands were full alongside him, "let's just stop and eat. . . please." Hye-Yoon pleads, she can't carry more because of the big heavy teddy bear that he has won for her, Su-Hyeok looks at the stuff in her arms and hands before letting out a sigh.

"Alright, let's get you some food." He agrees before intertwining their fingers once again right after he took some of the stuff from her, he led her towards the one chicken restaurant before leading her towards a table.

The customer looks at them weirdly but Su-Hyeok couldn't care less while Hye-Yoon covers her face, and doesn't want anyone to recognize her as the Im Tae-Ho daughter now since she likes being recognized as Im Hye-Yoon, a highschooler.

"Ma'am two pepsi and original spicy chicken fries please!" Su-Hyeok ordered before taking a seat right across Hye-Yoon, once he sat down she glared at him while shaking her head at his shamelessness.

"Why?" He asked, confused, "I just ordered for us." He defends himself.

Hye-Yoon couldn't say anything, just sighing as their food arrived with their drinks, "here your food, please enjoy!" the owner stated before walking away.

Su-Hyeok smiles at the owner as she walks away before turning to his girlfriend, "let's eat!" he cheered, taking one of the chicken and placing it on her plate before taking his own, "enjoy~" he said before they began eating their chicken, the couple ate in peace as they laughed and joked around. People by passing glared at them yet they didn't care even if the owner didn't care as long as they didn't start a fight.

End of their date, the couple went home towards their own house after Su-Hyeok sent her home but that didn't stop them from talking to each other by continuing their day by calling each other as well sleeping next to each other while on call.
