Back in the abandoned prison of Hyosan, Im Tae-Ho wait patiently for any news about her daughter yet he received nothing, every soldiers and high rank politicians person that greets her only stated that his daughter was nowhere to be found after Commander Jin demand for the students to be left behind and after Im Hye-Yoon herself denied to follow the black hawk.
As he leaned against the wall, he caught the sight of students passing his cell when he saw On-Jo, "On-Jo ah!" The father calls for his daughter's best friend, On-Jo stops as she flashes the father a sad expression.
"Where is Hye-Yoon? Is she safe?" He asks for his daughter's well-being, he has been away from his own daughter that made him so worried for her life, she is the only reminder from his late wife.
"Ahjussi..." On-Jo trailed, "I am sorry.." she bowed in apology, her friends had stopped walking when they didn't see her. They turned to see that, she bowed down to a man in the cells, "ah, don't say that.." Tae-Ho couldn't believe the teen, his daughter, and his will to survive are not with her.
"I am really, really in deep apologies that.." Tear drip, "I couldn't save her.." She cries lightly, she didn't just lose a friend today, she also lost her father that she admired a lot.
Tae-Ho couldn't believe the teen as he let out a wailing, crying loudly as he bangs onto the metal door, "no! no! no!" He cries, his cries fill the whole cellars.
They have lost someone close to them but for Tae-Ho, it's a different story. Everyone knows the Im family's, they are kind and generous, always trying to help and protect other people and knowing that the last heiress is dead, the tradition for the Im family will die alongside their generosity.
Meanwhile back in the empty city of Yangdong, Nam-ra and Hye-Yoon walked behind the mysterious person. Nam-ra has caught up to Hye-Yoon when she smelled her scent and unfamiliar faces, they walk behind the person as he leads them towards a campsite.
Their eyes widened to see that, people from the age of children, teens, adults and old people around the camp, "what is this place, Han-so" Hye-Yoon asked the male.
Han-so turned to face the two newcomers, "welcome to our safe haven." He announced.
His words cause everyone to face them with a smile, "welcome!" They greeted the newcomers as they bowed in respect until one of the elders gasped when she saw Hye-Yoon.
"Im Hye-Yoon!" The voice belonging to her mother sister caught her attention. The moment the two families saw each other, Hye-Yoon ran into her aunt's arms as she sob lightly, "Dad is alone now.." She cries.
"Shhh.. it's alright, your father will live.." Shin Ji-soo whispered while kissing the top of her head, everyone watched in ease at the reunion before they pulled away, "what happened to you?" Her aunt asks the young heiress, blood soaking her uniform.
"A lot happened." Hye-Yoon said, and that how her life as half human, half zombie began, her aunt teaches her how to eat from the animals because they need meat to survive. Their only main food is meat, they could eat other foods but it won't make them full, they eat fish mostly because it is easier and it won't go to waste.
They managed to live as half-bie peacefully until they remembered Nam-ra wishes, every night the two would go back to their old school and start a firewood up the rooftop to see if their friend would come. By now they both have full control of their hunger for human flesh, they know that their wound would stitch back if they got hurt and any zombies that are alive are immune to them but one thing for sure, even as a half zombie they could still feel emotion.
"Do you think they'll come?" Hye-Yoon asks Nam-ra after lighting the campfire after coming back and forth for four month now.
"They will." She said with hope.

The night after Nam On-Jo saw a light on their old school ground, she told Su-Hyeok but when On-Jo arrived at the secret gateway from the quarantine zone, she was surprised to see almost all of them were there.
"I told you not to tell anyone.." She scolded Lee Su-Hyeok, he looked around and turned to Yang Dae-su, "Noona.. I say it between us."
"She says she'll call the cops if we don't bring her." Jang Ha-ri stated, "It's better getting caught than not getting into College.." Park Mi-Jin commented.
"Then what are we waiting for," Mi-Jin asks while staring at their gateway pass, "wait, are you serious?" On-Jo stopped them, "like all of you?" she asked them.
Na-Yeon, Ji-Min, Wu-Jin, Gyeong-su and Joon-Yong nodded their heads, "I need to say my sorry because I didn't get my chance.." Lee Na-Yeon whispers enough for them to hear, "Gonna show Nam-ra that I am brave now." Kim Ji-Min says.
"We miss her as much as we miss Hye-Yoon." Gyeong-su stated, the truth is, he misses Cheong-san and Hye-Yoon so much that he has to fake his smiles.
"Plus you're not the only one hurting.." Ha-ri says, "we're hurting too." She said before facing at their gateway, "are you sure?" On-Jo asked Hyo-ryoeng, "I am going as well," she responded with a smile, "let's go." she smiles.
As they make their way into their school compound, the sight inside their school has changed but the memories from the school remain deep in their mind as they make their way up the rooftop. Nam-ra and Hye-Yoon were on the first floor looking for stuff they could use when their footsteps were heard.
A wide smile on Hye-Yoon's face as she and Nam-ra make their way up the roof, they were whispering while surrounding the fire that Nam-ra had made, "you made it." Her voice caught their attention.
Everyone turned to their class president, "oh, class president." Dae-su called her after a month, "Nam-ra.." Su-Hyeok calls her name as she smiles, "Don't forget." Nam-ra said as Hye-Yoon stepped out from the staircase, "yah! you're too fast!" Hye-Yoon whines, panting.
There, Im Hye-Yoon bent down beside Choi Nam-ra as she pants heavily, "H-Hye-Yoon.." Su-Hyeok stutters, he remembers seeing his girlfriend lying lifelessly on the ground but that proves them wrong, here she is panting.
As soon as she caught her breath, Hye-Yoon stood still, "Hello, everyone. I missed you all." Hye-Yoon greets them with a smile.
Maybe they didn't lose their hope after all, "and I am glad that you are all still together after a month, so happy that some of you guys change but whatever so, glad that you are all safe."

the ends! I made almost everyone alive except I-sak, Miss Park and Cheong-san because I think a little sadness is enough, I don't want almost all of them dead because I believe in seconds changes.
For example,
Gyeong-su, he deserves all.
Na-Yeon, she might be selfish but her selfishness only cause she wann survived.
Ji-Min because she was scared.
Joon-Yong because he takes responsibility after what he has planned.
Wu-Jin because he is brave to sacrifice himself for his sister.
They all good people, just they cares too much.So what the morals in the story that I've wrote since last January? Was it good or nah? because it's easy and expectable bcs you'll know what will happens 😬
this a good book that I've wrote so far but also this is the ending, let's hope I'll write more about Kdrama 🤍
