Ami glances around when they hit the main street, craning her neck to see over the crowd and make sure the angry blue man is gone.

"Where did we park," Hoseok asks, looking around himself. "Was it-"

Ami's gasp cuts him off. In one motion, she leaps toward him, flipping him around so his body is completely blocking hers from sight.

It's Abba. He's standing less than a block away, talking with his driver. What could he possibly be doing here? This isn't exactly a high end part of town.

Ami peeks quickly over Hoseok's shoulder, hoping he might have gone off in the other direction, but he's already walking straight for them. Ami ducks behind Hoseok's back again, clinging to his jacket.

"Aish."

"Is that guy back," Hoseok asks, standing up straight to better block her. He glances around, but when he doesn't see anything, tries to look down at her over his shoulder.

Ami clicks her tongue, straightening so she can meet his eyes with a dark glare.

"Like I'd be scared of him. It's just someone I know." Hoseok frowns. "He's hardcore Army, okay? He could probably recognise your voice."

Hoseok chuckles, but lowers his voice all the same. "Nugu?"

"Go Ami?"

Ami grimaces into Hoseok's jacket briefly before stepping into view.

"Abba!" She rushes forward cheerily, wrapping him in a tight hug. "What are you doing here?"

"Shopping," he says, eyeing Hoseok behind her. "Were you hiding behind your, um, him?"

"Ani." She scoffs, waving her hand behind her dismissively and accidentally slapping Hoseok in the stomach. He gasps and winces, clutching his gut. "Oh, mianhae."

"You really like that spot," he mutters, eyeing her incredulously.

She squints at him darkly, before turning back to Abba.

"Abba, this is Jung Hoseok. Jhope, you know? Hoseok, this is my Abeoji. He's your biggest fan."

She glances between them, happily enjoying each man's look of shock or annoyance.

"Abeoji," Hoseok blurts, eyes wide.

"Ne!"

"I never said I was their biggest fan," Abba mutters, shuffling his feet.

"Oh? You don't like BTS anymore?"

"Aniyo, of course I do," Abba exclaims, glancing up sharply. He clears his throat, slightly pink. "My daughter, however, would be the number one fan."

He glances at Ami, then Hoseok, who's eyes crinkle with a grin.

"Not me," Ami says quickly. "His other daughter."

"Your dongsaeng?"

Ami hesitates, then nods.

"Aniyo," Abba says. "I meant Ami. You're all she talks about."

"Eh?" Ami turns to him quickly, frowning. "No he's not."

"He was all you talked about the last time we got together."

Ami's mouth opens to respond, but when she can't think of anything to say, she snaps it shut. Hoseok is the only thing they talk about lately, but not for the reasons Abba's implying.

Ami glances at Hoseok. His eyes are bright, practically dancing with hilarity that only increases when he meets her eyes. This isn't going as planned.

"That's because I work for him, Abba," she says, widening her eyes threateningly. He doesn't seem to care.
