"What is going on?"
Ami turns to find Suga staring down at her, an eyebrow slightly raised. She glances between her armload of rejected clothes and his all black ripped jeans and t-shirt ensemble. The others are all dressed similarly, their clothes in various states of ill-fitted decomposition.
"I'm sorry, Suga," she replies, shaking her head. "You need to talk to your stylist."
He frowns, blinks, then shakes his head.
"Ani, I-" he stops abruptly as Jin saunters past.
Jin's chatting absentmindedly on his phone, a make-up artist following closely with a poised brush and an expression of watchful patience. She strikes as Jin passes an open chair, yanking him down into the seat. Jin barely registers being pulled down, just keeps chatting contentedly away as the artist goes to work touching up his make-up.
"Ani," Suga repeats, drawing Ami's attention back to him. "Not the clothes. What's going on with Hoseok?"
Ami glances to Hoseok on the other side of the room. He's with Jungkook, Jimin, and V, smiling softly at something the others said. The smile falters when he meets Ami's eyes and he quickly looks away.
"He's being weird, right?" Ami sighs, feeling relieved for some reason that someone else noticed. "I thought it was just me."
He's barely spoken a word after toppling off her bike last night. Ami had been willing to chalk it up to exhaustion, but if Suga thinks he's off, then maybe something else is going on.
She shakes her head, tossing the load of clothes onto an empty chair, and starts hanging them up one by one.
"I do think it is just you."
Ami frowns, pausing in the middle of wrapping a fluffy white jacket around a hanger.
"Mwo? Naega? Wae?"
Suga's expression flattens.
"Because he's being normal with everyone else."
Ami scoffs, shoving the fluffy jacket onto the wrack.
"Does that seem normal to you?"
Grabbing another shirt, she gestures to where Hoseok is still talking with the youngest three. At that exact moment he bursts out in a boisterous laugh, playfully shoving Jimin, who falls onto the nearby couch dramatically.
"Ne," Suga says, fighting a grin.
"Bad timing," Ami says, turning resolutely away from where Jimin is taking a mock kick at Hoseok. She snatches a blindingly patterned shirt off the pile. "He and Jimin are really close."
"Ya, Hoseok-a," Suga suddenly shouts, turning to the group. Hoseok looks up immediately, his smile never faltering. "If you finish in one take, hyung will buy you a meal."
"Oooh, hyung," Hoseok exclaims, laughing until his eyes land on Ami. He looks away at once, his smile momentarily subdued.
"Hyung," Jimin whines from the couch. "What about V and me? We were done in five."
"What food will you buy us, hyung," Jungkook asks, eyes round with excitement and hunger.
"Who's buying food," Jin asks, coming up behind them.
"Suga," Ami says, shooting Hoseok a glance that he ignores. "He's buying a meal for the whole group."
"Ya," Suga mutters at her, but Jin cuts him off.
"Daebak," he exclaims, grinning broadly as he walks past them. "We should get something good, then."
They start bickering amongst themselves, discussing everything from where they want to eat to encouraging Hoseok and Jungkook to get his scene done quickly once RM finishes. They assure everyone they'll do their best, Hoseok smiling and laughing the whole time.
