third person pov

as y/n was in deep thoughts , fanny came flying down and landed beside her. She saw y/n's face as in worry.

"hey...you ok?" Fanny asked.
but no answered from y/n.

"Don't mind him , he's always a cold shoulder..." Fanny said again.
"...who .. is he?"y/n asked the girl
and she gave a surprise Pikachu face.

"huh :O?" She couldn't believe what y/n asked her."I thought you knew who he is? No?"

Y/n looks at fanny with a not-so-approved face that made fanny sweat dropped.

"You know what nevermind...he looks like a grandpa anyway. Especially with the hair."y/n said with a tone of annoyingness.

Fanny then laughed while almost had a tear on her left eye.
"PFFFT- HAHAHAHAH"

Y/n gave a puzzled look.
"What? It's true...he looks like a yin yang bastard."

Fanny laughed more and more.
"HAHAHAHAH XD"
tears ran down on Fanny's cheek and almost out of breath.

"Okok I understand...HaHa.."
Fanny said.
"But you don't have to worry bout him at all..he's always like that and he only cares for himself." " Tho Alucard did said that he saw him as a good demon hunter too..to be precise , he bring back alot of bounty's and also helped the empire to capture the most hardest thieves ever."

Y/n gave a confused face. A bounty?
thieves? Demon hunter?W..T..H?
"... whatever , it's his life and not mine...I don't care."

Then y/n remembered something.
She looks at fanny and her eyes are wide.

"WHY TF YOUR HERE ANYWAY?!?!"
She shoot at fanny with a tone of shocked and also questioning why she's here.

"Oh...I followed you ofc , and since your still new to the palace. I was wondering if you want a tour?"
Fanny answered with a innocent face.

Y/n shoots back immediately to her answer. "No thank you , I was gonna gonna go back to my door."
With that she starts walking away from the Blade Dancer.

"WAITT!!! hold up!!"
Y/n stopped at her tracks and looks back. "What?...don't you have better things to do instead of talking to me?"
"And besides , the empire's most capable assassin must have important duties rather than talking to a pue commoner like me."

Y/n looks back ahead and starts to walk away again.

Fanny in the hand , was shocked and also sad.she was just wanted to make friends other than in the empire.
but the young girl who wears a mask doesn't want to be her first friend.
who wouldn't be sad if someone just rejects a friend request without any reason . Her reason was she works for the empire , but she also wants people to see her as a human being too. Not just a empire assassin.

Next day.

Y/N's pov

So today will be the first match of the camp. I feel like I should watch today's opponents , might be handy if I'm up against one of them.

but yesterday's encounter made me feel uncomfortable. Feels like I made someone sad. But , I'm still not sure why I said like that...she clearly wants to be someone to me..but I didn't let her.

HMM...maybe I should just let it slide today..I'll think of a way to apologize to her once I bumped to her again.
Right now I need to focus on my opponents.

the first battle starts in a few hours.
I think I still have time to roam around to other places.im wondering if they have some snacks ready for the people who taking part of this.

Third person pov

Y/n roams around hoping to find some stalls that are snacks to make herself not bored while waiting for the first round to start.

as she passes many people in the streets moniyan , she discover something. Rather an animal?

y/n's face was wide!

it's the monkey she saw yesterday!
but it's stealing something and made 3 stall seller's who gone mad.

The monkey was holding a big bag.
probably it stole alot of money.
but as in monkey jumping around, the monkey saw y/n , it jumped and landed on her shoulders.

the sellers saw it and y/n and so they shouted "CATCH THE MONKEY! AND THE GIRL!! THEY MUST HAVE WORKED TOGETHER!" that made y/n's eyes wide and also annoyed.

but she has second thoughts.
she started running. And ofc since she's capable of hunting people and other animals , she's a fast runner .
the monkey was jumping up and down holding tight on her back with the money behind it.

Y/n's pov

gosh...people these days sure make me feel annoyed by their misunderstandings , but why am I running anyway?
meh just run , they can't catch up to me cause I'm good at these things.

20 minutes later

"huff...huff...I think I ran far enough..."
"And not a single sweat dropped."

as I said it to MYSELF , I quickly look behind me and saw the monkey I recognize.

I took it from my back and hold it while it was almost passed out while I was running. Probably it was surprised how fast I ran.

"hey...you ok little guy?"
I asked with concern.

it suddenly open its eyes and made eye contact with me.

I stare back at it as in trying to reassure it that I'm a good person.
but it suddenly smiled and said the same thing when we first met.

"REEEEEE"

not surprised but not understand it completely. I noticed the bag that it was carrying and it was still behind it's back , must be pretty heavy for a little monkey.

"are you hurt? Where's your owner little guy?"

it didn't answer but it was looking at my back , I made a confused face.

then its face was light up. Tf-

"Hey What're you doing to Dexter??"
I heard a voice said that and I turned around.
