"THE FOREST HERE I COME!"

as the soldiers goes to their perspective spots to guard the forest , y/n was tasked to be at the ends of the forest where there's the elves water fountain. (like in the new year Miya skin fountain video)

y/n goes to the deeps in the forest and was walking alone all by herself, same thing over and over again .

y/n's pov

trees....trees....more trees...more trees...

I am hella bored , but atleast I could go see the lake again. I always wonders where that lake leads too.

'5 minutes later'

aha! Found it! And as I always remembered, it is still beautiful like yesterday I came. Although I hope there's no 'creature' that's gonna target me while I have O weapon on me.

third person pov

as y/n goes to the lake and meeting the fountain , she couldn't take her eyes of it . It reminded something from her pass. That fountain reminds her of something , or someone.

after some time passed , she heard rustling bushes sound coming from her right . Y/n was curious of what was it  , she decided to go to the bush and investigate it.

she goes to the rustling bush and opens it.

her eyes were wide , it none other than the empire's assassin.

shocked feels with Y/n as she thought she could not see this girl anywhere but here. , Although she thinks back that the Sir Tigreal who calls all of them. The his sister would be here as well.

"uhh...Hey?" Fanny started to start a Convo with y/n. Y/n was still in shocked but after a few seconds she remained calm and collected her thoughts.

"hey"y/n said with cold shoulders and sending shivers down Fanny's spine.

"I umm... wanted to uh..um..." The blade dancer was stuttering and not confident to ask the (N/N) something.

"you can asked anything , I won't run nor ignore your request Lady Fanny"y/n said with pure honesty.

"then...I was wondering if I could join you for this guarding forest duty , you see I saw you were alone and everyone else have their own partners . so I was wondering if I could be your...um..."the blade dancer said as fast as she could talk.

y/n seem to be silent , and silent also staring at her. Fanny sweat dropped and scared for her answer .

"...if you want to us to be friends..then I suppose we can get to know ourselves a bit more , and it would be more fun since we'll have our time alone and also can do our duties well."
Y/n replied while not looking at the blade dancer. She started to walk away from her and was heading towards her destination.

Fanny in the other hand was shocked and almost not believing the girls words. She seemed that the girl is lying and also would cause more conflict.

but rather than overthinking , y/n calls for her.

"you comin'or nah?" Y/n said while raising her eyebrow and puts down her mask for the girl so she can see her face fully under the moon.

Fanny was surprised that what she said was serious she almost tear up infront of her new friend.

she wiped her tears that falled down her rosy cheeks and tried to remain calm. Y/n on the other than sweat dropped and goes to her.

"why are you crying? Did I said something to upset you lady Fanny?"
y/n was shaking and afraid that the blade dancer suddenly shed some tears.

"no..no , it's not that..."fanny answered her back .

"it's just...your my first friend outside of the empire , I'm .. really happy that you wanted to be friends with someone like me"
fanny said with the purest smile she ever had.

"I'm really happy and i would do anything to keep being friends!"
she said with close eye smiled.

y/n was speechless, she thinks that she should trust this girl more . But she was hesitant.

"...then , do you...want to be..best friends?"y/n said while staring at her with hopes .

fanny was really shocked , she thought that the girl infront of her was a cold hearted person , a person who's not interested with others , a person who lives and wants to be alone.

well those thoughts were dead wrong.

"I- YES OF COURSE!"fanny answered with excitement and happiness conquer her heart.

y/n was relieved that she made the girl calmed. then y/n felt something covering her figure.

it was Fanny, giving y/n a hugged. the blade dancer was very touched the fact that y/n also wanted to be friends.

Y/n was frozen and didn't know whether to hug back nor dont.
instead she stand still and wait for fanny to let go of her.

"Sorry...I was umm..lost-"she was cut off by y/n.

"no..it's fine , please be yourself whenever your with me . I don't mind even the slightest of it. Plus, I was hoping that you could tell me about the origins of the empire sometimes."
y/n said those last parts abit slower under her breath , but fanny can hear her clearly despite being close after the hug.

"OFC! , If you want . I'll help you win the camp contest and make sure your the chosen one and become the next assassin trader!"

"that wouldn't be necessary, but thank you for the offer lady Fanny."
she said with pure honesty.

"oh? then atleast let me help you with something! If you have any requests please let me know!" Fanny said back.

"...well then... I'll tell you once I have anything to asked then."
Y/n said back again.

"alright then , let's go for our look-ups!!" Fanny said with full excitement since she'll spend her night with her new best friend.

"don't call me lady , just Fanny!"
fanny said.

y/n was about to protest but she couldn't reject it.

"yes Fanny."

y/n and fanny finally became friends! but y/n forget to apologize to her for being so cold towards her from their fist encounter!
