Hiii I hope you're all doing well! I'm really happy with all of the support for this story, so thank you. I really appreciate it :D

Also, I thought I might add that I'm too lazy to read this chapter over and check for grammatical errors so I'm really sorry if it's bad.

Please stay safe, and I hope you enjoy.

Meredith

After I woke up from my rather unexpected nap, Cristina, Izzy, and George were already asking about what happened when I left my room.

"How did it go?" Cristina asked.

Izzie, noticing I had just emerged, left all of her baking to come and talk with me. "Are you going to see her again? Was she even more dreamy and wonderful than last time?"

"I...don't know," I mutter.

"What do you mean, 'you don't know? What the fuck happened??'" Cristina asks me.

"It's a long story," I sigh.

"I've got time," Cristina says. My other roommates nod and wait for me to tell my story.

"She's a sugar mommy," I start. George stares at me, bewildered, and Cristina just laughs as she processes what she just heard.

"Like, an 'I'm gonna give you money cause we're dating' sugarmommy?" Izzie asks me.

"What other kinds of sugar mommies have you heard of?" Cristina says. Her giggles die down and George finally snaps out of his stupor.

"She's hot and she'll give you money?? If you don't marry this woman, I will."

"Can you just let me finish??" I shout over all of them. They stop and I continue.

"We met at the bar and I worked my shift while she watched and drank. When she went to pay her bill, she slides over a $100 tip, kisses me on the cheek, and leaves."

"That's...a lot of money," Izzie mutters.

"I don't even get tipped that much, and I'm the one flirting with all the guys so they'll tip more money," Cristina mutters.

"So anyway, after my shift ends, I go around looking for her. It turns out, she works at a hospital. And has her own office. I find her and yell at her about how she shouldn't pity me."

"What?" The three of them ask. They all seem shocked that I would really turn down a tip like that.

"I thought she was trying to buy me a date with her. Surely you can understand why I was at least a little bit offended. So, when I finished talking, she explained that she was a sugar mommy. So I said I'd have to think about everything and left."

"What are you gonna do?" Cristina wonders.

"That's the thing, I don't know. She really seems lovely, but...I don't know. What if it doesn't work out?"

"But what if it does? There's always risks in relationships, especially if money is involved, but you have to decide for yourself, if she's worth it. And not just for the money. Do you think she can make you happy?" Izzie asks me.

I take a moment to think.

I could hardly get her out of my head since the day I met her. Every time I closed my eyes, I could see her brushing the bright red hair out of her face, I could hear her sweet, drawling voice wrap around my head like tendrils of vines that pulled me in closer to her. The smell of her perfume, vanilla and roses, forever burned itself into my head. I was addicted to her. I could only imagine the taste of her lips on mine, sharp and sweet like the wine she drank at the bar.

But was it worth it? What if it never worked out, or the money went to my head. I've never been a fan of gambling, but was it worth it if I bet everything I had on this woman?
