THIRD PERSON POV

"Come on Af , live a little." Taehyung motioned to the wine glass he was holding, and brings it closer to Afriel's face as a hopeful look crosses his features.

"I'm not drinking Tae. Not today." She sighed as she gently held the wine glass and put it back down on the table, continuing with her conversation with Serena.

Serena, with her frizzy hair which jostled around everytime she moved, was quite a character. She was studying medicine in Korea University, and was in her fourth year. Her step-brother Kang Taemin, the main vocalist of The Crewmates, had requested her to help him with the guests who would be arriving at his party. She told Afriel that had it not been the fact that her dear brother promised to treat her to a meal and also buy her that cute headband she saw in that one particular store that she had been eyeing for days, she wouldn't have been here. She had so much portion to cover up and her schedule was going to be ruined up but for just this once, she's letting it go. Afriel admired that sort of will power. She was never good at making schedules, or just ever following a pre-given one; Namjoon had once tried to make her a schedule for the week and she had miserably failed in following it. She tried her best to stick to it, considering the fact that her friend had taken a lot of his time in getting her free time and hobbies and studies and everything in a suitable routine, even though he himself had immense work and assignments to do himself, being an aspiring neurologist, but honestly, Afriel couldn't quite get herself to follow a plan and have it repeated every week. The plan lasted for almost a month, until she called Joon and apologised for taking up so much of his valuable time just for her to not value it.

"You said you're a Literature major?"

"Yep." Afriel says, giving her a small smile.

"I al-"

"Guys-! Oh hey Siri, how's it going?!"

The lead vocalist of Crewmates comes bursting in (for the second time), Afriel jolting in shock as his booming voice was right behind her ear. He proceeds to give his step sister an unprovoked-but-gentle slap on her arm, earning a playful glare back from her.

"How many times have I told you not to call me Siri? Like- it doesn't even make sense now does it... Minmin." She completes with a smirk of her own, wiggling her eyes at him as he catches on to her teasing.

"You didn't have to expose dad's embarrassing nickname for me to the crowd just like that, you know." He leans down and whispers at her, not knowing that Afriel could very well hear him.

"The crowd will hear it a lot more if you keep calling me the name of a fucking AI. Now, stop being dramatic." She puts her palm on his face and tries to push him away.

He jerks back, muttering something about 'how scary little sisters can be' and looks at Afriel, the earlier grin swiped off from his face and replaced with an embarrassed look.
