Its my party and ill cry if i want to

Lavender and Rory were making there way to Luke's diner Rory was still extremely upset about grandmas party even after Lavenders reassurance that it wouldn't be as bad as she thinks now don't be mistaken lavender wasn't Exactly trilled about it either but unlike Rory Lavender had managed to make quite a few friends at chilton so the thought of there entire class being invited to her party wasn't quite as daunting to her although she knew it would most definitely be shit. At least tristan was going to be there though she thought with a smile.

Lavenders mother creeped into her oldest daughters room and kissed her gently on her cheek
"happy birthday little girl" she spoke softly waking lavender up. Lavender slowly opens her eyes and smile up at her mother. Her mom has done this every year since Lavender could remember and it was one of Lavenders favourite things it gave her a chance to have a special one on one moment with her mom and it always warmed her heart.
"Hey" lavender smiled moving over so her mom could join her in bed so that she could once again tell her about the night her and her sister were born.

Lavender made her way into Luke's diner accompanied by her twin and her twins best friend Lane.
"You should not have to go to school today" Lane states as they make there way over to the counter
"I agree let's ditch" Lavender replies
This of course earns her a stern look from her sister
"We have to, Latin test" Rory replies
"Geez everyday you have a test when do you learn anything to be tested on"
"Hey wrong table" Luke tells the girls as they sit down at the counter
Lavender groans tiredly
"Since when is there a right table" Rory questions the diner owner
"Since the coffee cake I baked for you and the balloons I blew up are at that table over there" Luke replied pointing at said table
Lavender perks up after hearing this
"Yum cake! Your the best Lucas" lavender smirked before wastes no time making her way over to the table and grabbing some cake.
"Hey leave some for us" Rory scolds as her a lane take a set.
"Ya snooze ya lose" Lavender replied plainly as she continues to dig in to her cake
"Are you ok?" Lance questioned her friend
"Yeah I just. I'm getting old lane." The youngest Gilmore replied sadly.
The thought of her grandmothers party still bothering her. Rory had insisted that they shouldn't tell lorelia about their grandmother inviting all there classmates after hearing that her mother and grandmother spent the afternoon together and didn't fight. Lavender agreed to keep quiet since it meant so much to Rory that her mom and grandmother got along. Although Lavender knew it wouldn't last long, it was always something with those two.
Lavender didn't listen to the rest of there conversation to busy eating her cake.

Lavender, Rory and lorelai make there way into there grandparents house to see about a million servants running around putting the finishing touches on everything.
"Jeez mom leave some servants for the rest of the neighbourhood"
"There they are the birthday girls" Emily Gilmore smiles at her granddaughters
"Hey grandma" the twins reply
"Wow you really went all out huh?" There mother commented looking around
"Well I wanted everything to be perfect. What do you think?"
"It looks amazing grandma thank you so much" Lavender tells her grandma purely to be polite. It was a bit much for lavender's taste and she knew it was just going to be a bunch of her grandparents old rich friends standing around making polite small talk making no real connections with the people they call friends, cause that's just what old rich people do. 'I can't wait until Tristan gets here' lavender thinks. 'Maybe we could sneak a few drinks that might liven up the evening.' With that thought Lavender grins cheekily
"I think Edith Wharton would have been proud and busy taking notes." Lavenders mom replied sarcastically
"Here girls go get changed" lorelai hands the twins there dresses and they make their way upstairs.

Lavender sighs and she walks around her grandparents library that was filled with her class mates tristan hasn't arrived yet and Lavender was getting bored of teasing the boys that were not so discreetly drooling over her and was wishing he would hurry up so the real party could start.
However her mood quickly brightened when she seen Madeline and Louise standing in a corner eyeing some of the guys lavender was teasing earlier in the night.
"Madeline, Louise you came!" Lavender greeted them happily
Lavender has formed quite a good bond with the two girls as they two were known to be somewhat party girls. Just lavender's type of people. The only downside to them being they are constantly hinging around Paris for what reason lavender didn't know.
"Of course we came!" Madeline replies in her normal happy way
" yeah what type of friends would we be if we missed our favourite small town sluts birthday" Louise said with a smirk
"You know I've only got eyes for you" lavender winks Seductively at Louise laughing
"Oh and I for you darling, you are looking sexy tonight in that dress" Louise winks as Madeline nods in agreement
"Aren't I just" lavender replies giving the girls a twirl
As she twirls she notices her younger sister Rory standing in the doorway looking like a deer in headlights
"Excuse me darlings I think I need to go save my sister" Lavender excuses herself quickly making her way to Rory who is exiting the library looking rather upset
Lavender catches up to the youngest Gilmore just in time to see her talking to Tristan
"So I'll give you a birthday kiss then" tristan smirks stepping closer to Rory
Lavender frowns when she hears this. Logically anyone would see he's only trying to get a reaction out of the younger Gilmore but logic tends to goes out the window when your heart is involved. Not that young Lavender realises how involved her heart is with the blond boy.
"What is wrong with you?" Rory asks disgust clear on her face
Lavender quickly wipes the frown off her face and replaces it with a smirk
"Don't worry blondie I'll give you a birthday kiss"
Lavender declares causing Both teens to look at her
Rory looks relieved to see her sister while tristin just stands there staring at the beautiful girl in front of him in complete aw
'Wow' tristin thinks to himself taking in her beauty
"On second thought I'd rather not kiss someone will drool all over their mouth" lavender teases the boy noticing his dazed look
"Oh shut up" the boy replies laughing
"Rory, Lavender"
The trio turn around to see Richard Gilmore
"Who's your friend?" The Gilmores girls grandfather questioned
"I don't know but this is Tristan" Rory tells him bitterly
"Excuse me" Richard replies confused
"Tristan Dugray, sir" Tristan introduces himself quickly shaking the girls grandfathers hand not wanting to make a bad first impression
"Dugray? Are you in any relation to Janlen Dugray?"
"That's my grandfather sir"
"I've done business with janlen for years. He's a fine man. Girls you have very good taste in friends. I approve" The girls grandfather smiles before he gets distracted by some other random old man.
"He likes me" Tristan exclaims as he smiles smugly at the two girls in-front of him
"He's drunk" Rory tells him not at all impressed
"Let's take a walk" Tristan says as he try's to lead Rory away
"This is stupid you don't even like me. You just have this weird need to prove I'll go out with you, that's not liking someone."
"Why are you fighting this? Your gonna give in eventually"
"I'm gonna go find my mother" Rory grumbles before storming off
"Wow, meeting your mom it's a bit sudden but ok, im ready." Tristan calls after her a smirk on his face
"So you have a thing for my sister then?" Lavender questions the boy
Tristan turns to his friend and smiles at her grabbing her hands
"Don't worry flower you know I've only got eyes for you"
Lavender looks up at the boy and smiles
"What took you so long I've been waiting all night for you to get here I've been bored out of my mind"
"Well I had to make a quick stop to get something" tristin tells the girl as he pulls a small box out of his jacket pocket
"This is for you flower"
"But you already got me a birthday gift"
"Yeah but like you said that was like more like a debt repayment thing. Open it"
Lavender carefully opened the small box and inside was the most beautiful zippo lighter she had ever seen I was a pearly white colour but you could see a hint of pastel purple in the light it had lavenders engraved in it and at the bottom said flower with a small heart beside it
"Tristan I love it it's beautiful"
Lavender tells the boy in aw
"Just like you my flower, so how about that birthday kiss now" tristin smirks down at Lavender
"How about we go test this out by sneaking out side and having a smoke?" Lavender asks the boy
"I guess that's almost as good as a birthday kiss but personally I would much rather we go- "
Lavender leans up and kisses the boy softly before he could finish his sentence
"Happy now?" Lavender asks the blonde who was just standing there star struck
"I um yeah I"
"Come on blondie I'm dying for a smoke"
Lavender smiles a slight blush present on her cheeks as she drags the blonde outside
