Lavender Gilmore

You look sad

"It was so weird not having you guys at school today" Rorys friend lane states as she and the 3 Gilmore girls walk around stars hollow eating pizza.
"I mean, I finally noticed some of the other kids. And let me just say they are a sad lot" Lane continues jokingly.
"Well add a couple of plaid skirts and you've got the Chilton freaks" Rory tells her friend jokingly
"I totally miss you" lane tells the youngest Gilmore.
Lavender stops listening at this point not really caring about the conversation all to much. Lavender likes lane and they have had some good conversation about music but they definitely aren't close like her and Rory are which Lavender is perfectly fine with. She has her own group of friends.
As lavender walks slowly down the street she pulls out her packet of cigarettes, pops one in her mouth and lights it. She smile as she thinks of her day, it wasn't as bad as Lavender expected Lavender Gilmore actually had a good first day. Unlike her sister who didn't have very good luck at all. Lavender felt kinda bad for her sister she was so excited about going to chilton and so far it's been a shit show for her.
" hey mom, I think I'm gonna head home. I'm kinda tired" Lavender tells her mom
" aw Ohkay hun do you want us to come with?"
"Nah it's Ohkay" Lavender reply's before walking off from the group

The next few weeks went by pretty fast. And rorys bad luck continued, with Paris hating her more and more every day doing everything possible to make her life miserable and Tristan calling her mary all the time. Chilton really hasn't been as great as Rory expected. Lavender however has been loving her new school she had made plenty of friends, joined the cheer team since a sport was required, I mean Paris hates her but Lavender doesn't care. and to be honest she didn't think tristan was all that bad. Tristan and Lavender have actually become pretty good friends over the past couple of weeks. He had also come up with a nickname for Lavender, flower. It wasn't the most original nickname in the world but Lavender couldn't help but smile every time he used this nick name. Lavender didn't know why her sister disliked him so much I mean yes he can be a tad cocky and a bit of a twat. But he's actually very kind and also very funny plus he is very handsome and that's always a bonus.
Lavender was currently sitting in her English class
"Decent effort by most, good effort by some, exceptional effort by 3 Miss Gellar, Miss grant, Miss Gilmore" Mr Medina babbles on as he hands out the classes graded papers.
Lavender smiles as she looks down at her paper that had a big red 'A' In the corner. Lavender may not be the studying type but she still likes to get good grades.
However Lavenders face falls when she looks over at the youngest Gilmores paper and see a big red letter D in the corner. Lavender gives her sister a sympathetic smile knowing that Rory will be absolutely crushed by getting a D. The bell rings soon after, lavender begins to pack up her papers when she hears Paris Gellar start to torment her younger sister.
"Hard paper" Paris said to Louisa
"Killer" Louisa agreed
"How'd you do?" Paris questioned her friend
"A" Louisa reply's plainly
"Me too"
"Huh small world" Louisa reply's with a smirk
"Isn't it, Madeline what you get?" Paris asked
"You know I got a B"Madeline reply's
"A B's not bad" Paris says
"No not at all" Louis adds
"Respectable even"
"I'd be proud"
"A D however, that would be cause for concern" Paris starts clearing directing this at Rory
Lavender sighs 'this bitch is going down' she thinks to herself
'Cry for help' Louis adds in
"Job application at McDonald's"
"Would you like fries with that?"
"You know not everybody can be smart. As my mother always says, someone had to answer the phone."
"Ohkay I have no idea what you two are talking about" Madeline says confused
"No but Rory does" Paris replies with a smirk
Lavender walks upto her sister
"Hey, you Ohkay?" She asks
"Fine" Rory snapped harshly before stomping away
Lavender sighed glumly as she begins walking down the hall. she tried not take Rory's snappy ness to personally though. Rory has always been miss perfect and when things don't go her way she can get crabby to say the least.
"Hey flower" lavender hears Tristan call out to her as she makes her way down the hall
"Oh hey" Lavender replied sadly, still kinda glum about Rory
"Hey, you look sad" Tristan says stoping the girl
"What's wrong?" He questioned worry clear on his face
"No nothing I'm fine, Rory was just in a mood earlier and it put me in a mood." Lavender reassures Tristan looking up at him
"You sure? You know you can always talk to me right." Tristan continues
"I'm fine thanks Tristan" Lavenders smiles at the boy
"Since when did you start to care about anything other than who your next hook up was gonna be with anyway?" Lavender joked
"Oh shut up" Tristan said Laughing as he through his arm around the girls shoulder
"Let's ditch this shit hole and go have a smoke" Tristan says as the two start walking down the hall
"Sounds good to me" lavender replied smiling already in a better mood
