Oneshot series: Father's Day {Part 3}
>>~~~~~~~~~~<<

Kate, Theo's publicist, is waiting for us at the entrance to the studios where Theo's movie is being filmed.

I called her last night and told her that we would be here for a few days, she promised not to say anything to Theo, so he still doesn't know a thing.

Ted squeezes my hand with his small one and sticks the other in his mouth. He always does that when he's either nervous or curious.

Kate smiles at us when she sees us. She greets us by ruffling Ted's hair, saying hi to the girls and giving me a hug.

I've known her for a very long time, as long as I've known Theo to be exact. She's always there when Theo has to do something that involves his career, and once every second month, she and my publicist come for dinner to discuss our careers, and to keep a good relationship with their clients as they like to call it, though we all know it is more about our private relationship with them, since they know everything about our lives and hobbies and families. They help us coordinate everything such as press conferences, photo shoots and interviews.

"How are you guys doing?" She asks as we follow her inside.

This movie is not a blockbuster movie with a huge budget like Divergent was, but either way it's obvious that the set is not too cheep.

It's big and it takes us a while until we reach what looks like the canteen.

There are people walking around everywhere, some are eating lunch and some are just chatting. Once in a while, there's someone jogging to get to another place. It all tells me that we have arrived in the middle of a break.

"Theo is on lunch break," Kate tells me. "I saw him here not even 30 minutes ago, so he must be in his changing room by now"

As we follow Kate out of the canteen and into a kind of lounge, Ted suddenly stops walking and points at something, "daddy!" He says.

My heart skips a beat, but when I look in the direction he's pointing in, all I see is a wall covered with the posters for the movie, Theo is on it together with some women I assume is his co-star.

"Yeah, that's daddy, baby" I say and lift my son up so he's sitting on my hip.

"Whoa there," someone says behind us, I turn around and see a woman walking toward us, the same woman that is on the poster. "You look like someone I know" she smiles at Maggie and Amber, then at Ted who's sitting in my arms.

"I didn't know you guys were coming?" She says and looks from Kate to me. "Does Theo even know? Because he hasn't said a thing about it, which is weird since he always talks about you"

"No, he doesn't know," I say and smile at her.

She opens her mouth to say something but then she receives a text message on the phone in her hand, "oh, I gotta go," she turns on her heel, "he's in his changing room!" She shouts over her shoulder before she disappears into another room.

In that moment, Kate's phone rings, "oh, it's Theo" she says and picks it up. "What's up?"

She makes a sign for us to follow her, and we do. While she keeps talking to Theo on the phone, we walk past a gym, the makeup trailer, a green screen studio and lots of other things that keep reminding me of how bad I miss acting.

It's been a little over a year since I had a job, I've been offered a few ones but one was in Washington and one was in Illinois, both meaning that I would have to leave my family, and I couldn't do that while Theo is here.
