Chapter 9

(Gaby's POV)
Randy was back at training. I'm so happy for him, he hates being off work because everyone who knows him knows that wrestling is his biggest passion. I had an idea to invite a lot of people to go out tonight, few drinks and a meal. Mainly to celebrate the fact I got a contract at WWE.

I decided to text Megan first, since I hadn't seen her in so long; looking after randy and all.

'Hey girl, long time no see! I'm inviting people out tonight for a meal and a few drinks to celebrate. Would love it if you could come with Seth, see you later😘'

I sent something like that to a few of the divas and their men, randy's friends, and a few others. I'd been travelling with the WWE roster for a while so I've made friends with a lot of the divas/superstars.

I was making a sandwich when I got a text back from Megan.

Megan👯: 'hey Gaby, I'd love to! Seth is at training right now. Also can't wait to tell everyone the big surprise😏😉'

Only myself, Megan, randy and Seth knew about the 'big secret' so we were planning on telling everyone tonight at the meal.

(Randy's POV)

I was so glad to be back at training, everyone who knows me personally knows how much the WWE and the business means to me. Going out an performing in front of fans every night is perfect.

Since I was only just getting back to training, I decided to go down to the NXT training centre. Sometimes I like to go down there myself just to see the upcoming talent and stuff. I couldn't help but think how awesome it will be to be able to train with Gaby.

I walked in and opened a locker to put my things in when suddenly I felt a hand on my shoulder.

"Heyy buddy. Haven seen you in a while."

I turned around to see Mr Rollins himself.

"Hey bro." I said shaking his hand. "Yeah I know, glad to be back." I locked the locker and started walking with him.

"I bet. So how are you? clear to fight?" Rollins asked me as we walked over to a ring with Cody, Ambrose and Roman.

"I'm cleared to train but not to do shows yet. few days of practice and I'm sure I'll be alright though, you know what I'm like." I laughed stretching.

Seth rolled into the ring. "well, better get your ass in here so I can curb stomp you." he said laughing with a smirk on his face. Damn that kid has such a big head. Although I was like that when I was younger so I don't blame him.

We all talked while fighting with each other. Going over basic drills and stuff. It was great.

I went to go and get my phone out of the locker to text Gaby. But I had already got a text, from that unknown number. It was really starting to annoy me.

unknown number: 'hey hot stuff, you look good fighting in that ring. glad to see you back around work.'

I walked back over to the guys as I text Gaby.

"Texting your better half huh Orton?" Ambrose said laughing. I laughed back, it's the truth.

"Yeah I am actually, but look at this guys." I showed them the texts I had been getting from the unknown number.

"Ooo. You're in some deep shit." Cody said as he grabbed Roman in a head lock.

"What I haven't actually cheated on Gaby?!" I couldn't help but snap, I would never ever do anything like that to my girl.

"Ohhh then why is this weirdo texting you?" Roman asked, throwing Cody down onto the canvas.

"I have no idea." I replied. "All I know is that this person texting me, is in this building."

We all looked around. "There." Ambrose said. "In that ring over there." He pointed to a ring with about 5 divas in.

"Could be Eva." Ambrose said. I shook my head, completely confused.

"Or it could be Cameron." Rollins mentioned as we all looked with confused faces.

Roman shook his head. "Nah I bet it's Brie."

"Or Alicia?" I questioningly said.

"You're a all wrong. it will be nikki. I can bet you." Cody said nodding his head.

"Oh yeah, what makes you think that?" Roman asked Cody, taking a sip of water.

"I don't know. I mean she did stuff like that with me. Tried to get me to date her and stuff. Weird shit man." Cody replied, laughing.

I was so confused. I didn't imagine it being any of them. "You know what, it might not even be one of them. I don't know anymore."

I got a text. All the guys looked straight at me. "Who?" Ambrose asked. I stayed silent.

Unknown number: 'I know you're talking about me, not that I mind. I'll just remember you're talking about my when I'm getting my squats done. See you tonight.'

I read the text out quietly to the guys, and as I looked up, Eva looked over and smiled. Batting her eyelashes.

"Wait, see you tonight? What's that supposed to mean?" Rollins pointed out.

"Oh, Gaby is inviting a load of people out for a meal and drinks tonight. You can all come. She's probably invited all of them divas too. I'm guessing that's what it means." I replied, sighing. I didn't really want to withstand the awkwardness of Gaby and this unknown person in the same room.

"Yeah we'll all come. You might get attacked in a dark corner by this gal." Cody joked. We all laughed and carried on with our training.

It made me think all the more. Could this number be Eva Marie?
