Chapter 7

(Randy's POV)
It had been one week into my rest off work and I was hating it. Being with Gaby was the only thing keeping me going, she makes me smile when I feel like I'm at my worst.

Gaby was working out while I was back at the hotel room. I hate not being able to work out with her. However recently I'd been getting texts from an unknown number.

My phone buzzed. I looked over and it was a text from the same number.

'Hey baby, I miss seeing your face around work. Hope you get better soon, wish I could kiss you better😘'

This was about the sixth text, just today. But I didn't want to answer it or ring them. I had no idea who it was.

Just then Gaby walked in the hotel room, my face lit up.

"Hey baby girl!!" I got up off the bed and pulled her close, her hands instantly wrapped around my neck as I looked down at her beautiful face.

"Missed me?" She bit her lip and had such a cheeky look on her face. I kissed her forehead.

"More than anything. Did you enjoy your workout?" She pulled away to put her bags away.

"Yeah I did, I missed you though." Gaby smiled looking back as she unpacked her bag.

I laughed a little. My phone buzzed again.

"Who's that?" Gaby asked.
"I'm not sure Gaby, do you know who's phone number this is?" I showed her the unknown number.

Gaby read the text.

'I'm feeling lonely, maybe you should ditch that ugly rat Gaby and come see me😘'

(Gaby's POV)

Millions of questions were flying through my head. I decided to just ignore it. Randy wouldn't cheat on me would he?

"Gaby...Gaby?! What does the text say?" Randy asked as he grabbed my chin, forcing my to look up at him.

I showed him the text, he grabbed the phone out of my hand and threw it on the bed forcing his lips again mine.

He pulled away, still holding me.

"Listen to me okay...you mean the absolute world to me. I would never ever even think about cheating on you. Please believe me."

I looked at him with quite a plain look on my face. "I believe you."

He shook his head. But I was incredibly insulted by the comment about me. "Gaby, please don't cry." Randy said rubbing my face.

"I'm not c-crying...?"

"Yes you are." Randy chuckled and wiped a tear that was running down my cheek.

I kissed his lips softly before walking to the kitchen to get a smoothie. "I actually had some pretty good news to tell you, but I'm not all that excited any more."

A shiver went down my spine as randy's manly hands were wrapped around my waist and he hugged me from behind.

"Come on then princess, tell me the news." His breath against my neck felt amazing as he left small and wet kisses.

Somehow I managed to force a smile out, remembering the amazing news. "Go and sit down I will be two minutes."

Once I had made us both a smoothie I came into the main room where randy was sitting all innocent with a smile on his face. "Come onnn, tell me."

"Randy you're acting like a little kid." I laughing seeing a constant smile on his face.

"Yeah, cause I like good news." I jumped a little like a child, almost about to explode.

"Okay listen to this voicemail..."

I played a voicemail from William Regal. Randy took my phone and held it close to him as I had it in speaker.

'Hello Gabrielle...'

"Regal??" Randy whispered with a confused look on his face.

'I'm so pleased to tell you that your audition for NXT went amazingly well. We've decided to give you a contract and we would like to see you down at the performance centre for gimmick ideas and so on next week. Thank you.'

Randy put the phone down on the bed after hanging up and jumped up smiling as I spun around in a circle.

"I'm going to be joining NXT randy!!!" I examined, excitement was an understatement.

He wrapped his arms around me tightly, although taking care of his ribs. "I'm so happy for you baby girl oh my god why didn't you tell me!?"

"I wanted it to be a surprise!" I was stopped suddenly as randy planted his lips onto mine, kissing my deeply with each of his hands placed on my cheeks.

"I'm so so so proud of you baby girl, I'm going to be there for you every step of the way don't you even worry for a second." Randy said looking straight into my eyes.

"Thank you, baby! let's celebrate how about..."

"Wait no, I'm taking you out for a nice fancy meal to that little Italian restaurant down the road. I know you've always wanted to go in." For some reason, randy seemed more exited than me.

"Yesss!" I kissed his lips. "Thank you thank you thank you!!!" I ran off to get ready.

My dream of actually wrestling was finally coming true. It was so hard to believe that I had actually been accepted for NXT.
