Chapter 5

(Gaby's POV)

Randy walked towards the door and opened it as I sat myself up in bed.
"What were you guys doing in there?" Colby giggled and nudged Randy's shoulder.

"Just making my girl feel special." Randy said as he turned around to face me and smiled, I smiled back.

I saw Megan behind Colby and she waved excitedly. "Hey Megan come in!" I shouted as Randy let her past.

Randy picked up his bags and said goodbye as he left with Colby. Megan and I sat on the bed. "So, you and colby..." I asked Megan.

"What about us?" She blushed a little bit. Megan knew what I meant, but she's not the kind of person who tells you personal things face to face.

"Oh you know silly." We laughed and I stood up to go to the kitchen.

"We're, y'know. Getting on great." I picked out two sundae bowls and motioned her to carry on, knowing there was more to tell. "Well, when we came back from the gym, I went to Colby's hotel room."

"No way, what happened? I got the ice-cream out and put strawberry in her bowl. We sat down in the kitchen and began to eat.

Thoughts were clearly going through her head, I wasn't sure whether she was going to tell me the truth or not. "We just, sat and watched a movie." She smiled.

"Megan, c'mon." We laughed a little.

"Okay okay, well we did watch a movie, we talked too. Like a lot. And we had our first kiss, it was super romantic, and then I fell asleep in his arms." Megan explained. Her cheeks became bright red as she smiled eating her ice-cream.

"Oh Megan! Megan and Colby sitting in room 3, k-i-s-s-i-n-g." We both laughed knowing I was joking. This was obviously a serious moment for her, and it clearly meant a lot. "Nah I'm joking babe, that's super romantic."

"Yeah I know, thankyou...again."
"For what?" I asked a little confused.

"Setting us up together, it means a lot. No one has ever done something like that before." We finished our ice-cream and washed the bowls.

"Seriously Megan, I just showed him your picture and he couldn't keep his eyes off you." I nudged her arm gently giggling with her.

even though I was with my best friend, I couldn't help but think about Randy. I'm sure Megan was the same about Colby too. I checked my phone and saw the time was about 7:30 when suddenly my phone rang.

Caller ID: Randy💗

I put my phone down not wanting to be disrespectful towards Megan. "Gaby what are you doing?!" She picked up my phone and handed me it. "I know I'm your best friend, but he's your man. Answer it."

Her smile made me smile and I answered it.

"Hey beautiful." His raspy voice beamed out of my phone.

"Hey babe, what's up?"

I saw Megan smiling out of the corner of my eye, and I followed her into the main room/bedroom. Not going to lie, I was pretty worried, Randy was calling me just a few minutes before his match, had something happened?

"Just calling to let you know I'm taping for smackdown in a few minutes, and I miss you."

I let out a sigh of relief. There was a moment of silence then Randy interrupted it.

"Gaby? Is everything okay?"

Megan snapped her fingers in front of my face and I realised I was still on the phone with him. There's something about Randy's voice that just makes me speechless, makes me weak.
