Janei is the only child of Jon Arryn. Daughter of his first wife Jeyne Royce who died giving birth to her. Maester thought how the child wouldn't make it, she was small and seemed weak. Too weak to keep on living. But the Gods were merciful enough to let her live. And in honour of her mother, she was named Janei.
