Two weeks later,
Classes had begun, Bucky was the last to leave the house. He peaked in Maci's room to make sure she unplugged her lights. When he saw a colorfully written list on her corkboard.
"A bucket list.." he whispered
He left before he was late to class, when Bucky returned home from football with Clint. He saw her reading in her room.
"Hey you." He said as he laid across her bed.
"Hey." She said
"So I have a question." He said
"What?" She said
"What is that bucket list about? And why does it have first kiss and losing your v card on it." He said
She looked down, "Because I haven't done those things yet." She said
He got up and took off the board, "I can help with all the other stuff, but I won't kiss you or sleep with you or do oral sex with you. Nothing against you personally cause you know I find you hella gorgeous doll baby. But those things are where I draw the line in our friendship." He said
"You would help me?" She said
"Of course what are friends for? And besides I know alot of dudes that could be propsects but I have to real grind them to make sure they are good for you and will be good to you." He said
She smiled at him, "What prompted this list though?" He said
She handed him a picture of her and her sister she took at that last BBQ.
"Thats my older sister Melody she would have been graduating college this fall. But..she passed away two days after that was taken. She had cancer, and had been battling since she was 19." She said
"Damn." He whispered
"I skipped a grade, I have always been all brains and books. I over heard my grandmother talking about how my sister didnt get to live her life. She wanted to travel the world, and was always a extrovert. I was jealous of her carefree attitude." She said
"Well no need to be jealous anymore. We will do what we can with this list sweetheart. Now I need a shower and food." He said as he got up.
He put the list back before leaving her room.
