A week later,
Bucky showed up at the house after being gone since the night before on a motorcycle.
"Now I get why he texted me and said wear pants." She said to herself.
He came up the stairs, "You amaze me you know that. I didn't even know you had a bike." She said as she stood up.
"Why do you think I put it on the list?" He said as he pulled her to him.
She smiled at him. "You ready?" He said
"Yup." She said
He put a leather jacket on her and they left, he took her back to Austin to eat at Eddie V's. He showed her how to eat oysters. He fed her dessert and kept her laughing with all the shenighans that went on at his niece's birthday party the night before.
They stayed at his parents house so he could drive his truck back to campus. He made a spot for him on the futon couch in his old bedroom.
"Before I forget come here." He said as he pulled her to him.
"Forget what?" She said
He kissed her hard and she wrapped her arms around him. He cupped the back of her head then broke the kiss.
"Goodnight my darlin." He whispered as they rested their foreheads together.
"Goodnight." She whispered
She climbed into his old bed and he laid down on his futon and they fell asleep.
