Author's Note:

I wrote this story many years ago. This is inspired by a true story of someone very dear to me. I couldn't finished it then but hopefully now I can. It was on my other account that I always forget the password. 😅

And of course, I have changed the names, places and some incidents. If it resembles any actual people living or dead, it is merely coincidental.

Children's loud laughs woke me up from my reverie.

"Tita Jaem, aren't you coming with us to the resort?"

I fastened her car-seat well and wished them all safe trip.

I rolled my eyes at them.

Kids, behave kayo ha... its a long drive."

"Aye!Aye! Tita! See you tomorrow."

She just really needs to go to her office and finished some works. Kesa naman isipin niya pa yun habang nasa pinakahihintay nilang bakasyon.

"Good morning Ma'am!" Nakangiting bati ng mga staff niya.

"Good morning." I just simply greeted them and walked straight to my office. After 10 minutes, Liana, my secretary came in with my coffee and some documents looking really worried.

"Ma'am, may meeting po kayo in 1 hr, with Mr David Seah." She said which made me quizzical.

"I thought I said to clear my schedule today. No meetings at all." Napatingin ako sa calendar ko. It was transfered next week. And to my table which is still filled with the documents to read and sign.

I could only sigh. "Why do these people exist? Akala ba nila sila lang ang busy. I could turn them down without even seing their proposal."
