Amadi continued to drink until there was only a dribble left, continuing to sway with the corpse in her arms in a danse macabre. "I can't believe someone had survived from that village," she mused to herself against Oni's throat. Her tongue sealed the puncture wounds there. "I suppose you were sent here and adopted, but even if there are more...they can't escape me." She lifted her head and stroked Oni's cheek. It was still slightly warm. "You truly tasted exquisite, young one. Ravishing, even in death. But this," she gestured to the hollow Osram ne Nsoramma that was nestled at the base of Oni's throat. "This can't exist." Her voice now was hard. "You were never meant to exist," Amadi smiled sadly down at Oni's still frame. Her complexion could have been a masterclass in the hidden depths of the color brown: alluring in its depths, rich with undertones of orange and violet.

It was truly a shame. How long had it been since she had felt so attracted to someone? She kissed the last vestiges of warmth from the limp form. Oni's eyelids lifted from the motion, revealing two glassy emeralds in their sockets. She gently closed them again. She didn't want to see those once glimmering green eyes devoid of all life. "Honestly, it was a devilish fate that kept you safe all these years just to deliver you to me," Amadi concluded as she removed the silver bracelet from its drooping wrist. She slipped it into her pocket to return later. Amadi then Whispered for Sasha and the tall Russian Sekh materialized in the service door.

The smart girl immediately noted the dead body in Amadi's arms. "Should I dispose of or preserve the body, Priestess?"

Amadi debated a moment before deciding, "Preserve it. For now. She came alone and has a black clutch in the closet. Her car is a dark blue Jaguar coupe."

"Yes, Priestess. I'll take care of everything." Sasha bowed then took the cadaver from Amadi and vanished once more. Her blonde ponytail was the last Amadi saw of her. It was a good thing she had asked some staff for Oni's details as soon as she had gotten close to the woman and seen her mark. Amadi licked her blood stained lips and pushed her braids back out of her face. She would consummate her meal with some wine. She turned back to the window to gaze at the moon again, except she saw instead...me.
