The sound of screaming echoed through Casita, its residents were buzzing and running around preparing for the new member of the family. In a room a woman gripped the sheets underneath her, pushing and pushing with every contraction she would scream louder.

Abuela, Pepa, and Julieta were helping (m/n) in receiving the baby, they've been going at it for a good while now, and honestly, they were starting to worry. Outside dark clouds were covering the skies, not because of Pepa oh no she was trying her very best not to make a cloud appear over her head but these clouds were natural, they brought a feeling of foreboding.

"You can do it! You just need to push a bit more (m/n)!" Julieta said in front of the panting women who had finished pushing.

Outside of the room, the rest of the family were waiting, they had woken up to (m/n) screaming and Casita ushering them towards Bruno's room. Speaking of Bruno, his sisters and mother hadn't let anyone inside, listening to his wife’s screams was heart-wrenching but no matter how much he wanted to be by her side he needed to stick by his daughters who were hugging his sides at the moment.

"Will mami be ok?" The small voice of Yaira caught his attention. Yaira was four years old, (m/n) was pregnant with her at the same time both his sisters were pregnant with Isabela and Dolores, little Yaira was the third one to be born out of the three. She looked a lot like her mother, with honey-colored skin, big chocolate brown eyes, and dark wavy hair. Her eyes were pricked with visible tears, she must be worried about her mother pretty badly, but what can he say? He is too.

Bruno ruffled her hair, cleaning away the tears that threatened to spill, he tried to give her a reassuring smile but it came out sloppy. A tug on his left side made him turn towards his second child, little Emma. They had named her that because of one of (m/n) friends who had passed away, they named her in her honor. Emma is three years old, just born a year later after Yaira, after Emma would come Luisa.

Emma just like her sister looked a lot like her mother, the only difference was that she inherited his green eyes and frizzy hair, she also had honey-colored skin and dark brown hair.

"Papi?" Emma's voice was above a whisper. Bruno looked at them both, they were patiently waiting for an answer. "You mami will be ok, she's a strong woman and she doesn't give up easily." He said trying once to give a smile. The girls hugged their father tighter knocking the wind out of him.

"Oof! G-girls!" He said, the two quickly loosened their grip.

Before they could do anything else the screaming started once again, (m/n) cries startled everyone they sounded much more pained but they also sounded determined. Agustín and Felix put a hand on Bruno's shoulder, they were holding onto their kids, Agustín was holding Luisa on one arm while Isabela held on to his pants and Felix was carrying Dolores. At first, they were going to leave the kids with a family friend but they denied it saying they wanted to be here, it was hard but in the end, everyone agreed in letting them stay unless something else happened.

"Everything’s going to turn out fine man. So don't worry, ok?" Felix said, trying to reassure them through the endless screams of pain and the shouts of encouragement.

"Yeah! It's normal for labor to last long! I mean Juli lasted more than two hours with Luisa, so- so don’t worry! We got you back!" Agustín said. He tried his best really but he was doubting his own words, none of the labors so far has lasted more than 4 hours, and right now they were going to the 6th hour mark. It might be normal for people in labor to last up to 8 hours but when you have Julieta one of the best doctors, they have well... you can imagine how worrisome the situation can be, and in the case with (m/n) she had complications in the past so they couldn't roll out that something bad might happen to her or the baby.
