The morning sun began to rise, just barely above the treetops. There was a gentle breeze and the trees silently whispered in the wind. The sun began to warm the Hollow Grove. All was peaceful in the Holy Land.

Then a large figure, that looked like a winged lion eclipsed the sun, followed by a smaller lion. The larger gryphon carefully touched down, their dark brown feathers seeming lighter than usual and their golden fur seeming to glow in the light. The elder gryphon glanced behind him to see the younger and smaller gryphon. Arkmaar landed gracefully and almost immediately pulled a map put of his bag. This map had many notes, squiggles, and scribbles written on it. He skimmed over the notes and then put a talon on the center of the map, being careful not to damage it.

The two gryphons waited a few minutes. The young and intelligent gryphon let our a deep sigh and decided to keep reading over the notes until the dragon champion arrived. Chimera was created by humans to serve for them in times of war. But the beast was smart and broke from human control. A relic was granted to Chimera to keep them at ease. The notes about the creatures they would were very interesting to him. But he looked at the Mothman notes with a confused expression. They were blank. A few were. No, half of them were blank. They would either have a question mark by them or nothing at all, besides the name of course.

A breeze ruffled the gryphons feathers as the spotted two dragons headed right towards them. One dragon was huge and black with steak of rust red on his chest, face and wings. The other seemed a bit smaller. In fact, the dragon was about the size of Arky. He watched as slivery colours seemed to shimmer on the dragons wings. Soon, the two landed, one after another. The silvery blue dragon was wearing a shoulder bag and two golden ankle bracelets on her hand legs. Her horn had been snapped earlier from fighting another dragon.

Volrik let out a sigh as she looked at who she was teaming up with. He didn't seem special. Just some gryphon reading a map. Although she had heard he was highly intelligent. The elder dragon may have just said that to con her into doing this or something along the lines of that. She took out her own map and glared at it, trying to find a good route to take.

With a quick glance at each other and a nod, both the elder dragon and gryphon took to the sky, and glided back to their camps. A feather from the elder gryphon flew off as they left and landed near Arkmaar. Then the gryphon began to speak. "I believe that we should take a route to the Eastern Realms." He immediately remarked and gently traced a line from the Hollow Grove to the Western Realm with his talon.

Volrik simply nodded and sneered in response. "No, I believe taking a route to the Northern Realm first would be best. It's the hardest realm to get through. And we may as well go when we have enough energy." To demonstrate her point she carefully traced a route with her claw, just to show how it might be faster to go there first. Rather than going to the west, that is. Really, her main point was just to argue with the other creature. She wanted to test how easy it was to take control, it was something she liked. Being in control made Vol feel very powerful and she liked that. Who wouldn't love feeling like they can control an army?

However, the gryphon disagreed. He cooly replied "We will have more experience once we take on the easier Realms first. Plus we could just rest before going to the Northern Realm." He looked back at his map and pointed at a few notes on the Realms "See, it'll be harder to get through and go to the Northern Realm. Things will calm down in the east as well with the upcoming winter." He stated and nodded on the direction of the East.

Volrik's eyes widened and she soon just decided that this gryphon was smarter than she thought. She looked at the Eastern Realm's data and smirked. "A faun. We have to fight a faun?" She laughed and soon wiped the look off her face. Then she noticed Arky smiling too, although he sys the same. "Yes, but it's not all fighting. There will be strategy involved, and puzzles." He noted and took off, hovering. "Lets go!" He yelled down to the dragon. Vorik nodded and flew up to him, as the two headed East.
