Volrik was bored out of her mind. She knew very well that it would be best to get some rest after wrestling that abomination but still. It was nice to feel safer but it was also so boring. She took the map out of the shoulder bag and set it down looking at the information.
Still, a lot was either incomplete or simply nonexistent. As in there were names but. No information. Some were completed too. She slimmed over to a totally different realm and read the information of a creature.
Cerberus is a hound of hell with three heads. Each head is said to have a different personality and even a different strength. The heads often fight for dominance over the body, but stick together when potential danger arrives.
They probability would not meet the psychotic dog until much later. But still, it was good to know these things. Even though she wasn't a fan of it, planning ahead was good. Arkmaar would be a fan of that. He just seemed like the kind of gryphon to plan ahead on literally everything.
This was pretty true about him, though the gryphon was still cleaning his wounds he was planning about what to do on his head. Perhaps the Mothman next. Or maybe the faun. Either way, he had little to no knowledge on them. The faun seemed water so perhaps he would go for that next. Finally, he had decided that the Mothman would be next. It was better to get over an ambush sooner or later, right?
Well, it didn't have to be an ambush. Either way it would be a surprise considering no one knows much about the Mothman. Sure, there might be more knowledge but not much. The humanoid had only been spotted a few times after all. Most information was just assumptions.
After deciding his wounds were clean enough, Arkmaar stopped licking them. He gazed off into the forest where he saw a small herd of jackalope. They bounded off to a large tree, at the base was a hidden hole. Must be a safe haven for them. He thought to himself and watched the antlered rabbits scurry into the hole. It was covered in dry grass, this was most likely to hide the area so they wouldn't be eaten. He smiled at the sight but soon frowned after seeing something nauseating.
A dead jackalope was left behind. It's fur tinted green, anthers snapped completely off. The crearure had died from the deadly plague the gryphon and dragon were trying to cure.
