Gun's POV
I always felt happy with my life. But, that just made harder moments worse, weighing on my mind. Eventually, bad days turned worse, and I had a bit of a.... Toss up with my family. We were visiting an unfamiliar town, but after and argument with them, I stormed away, still with my backpack on. I didn't know where I was going. I'd never done this before. I was always the good kid, kind and obedient. I just didn't know what else to do. I felt like I'd finally broken. I stormed through the streets, reminiscing on what had happened. I eventually calmed down, but was too ashamed to go back.
I'd run away.
I walked down the streets, keeping calm as I could. I soon got tired and sat down, hugging myself. Someone walked over to me. "Hey, you alright?" A female voice asked. The voice was like satin, and very chilled like ice. I looked up almost immediately. "H-hello?" I mumbled in confusion.
The girl had fair skin, long reddish, orangish blond hair, the bangs tied back with a braid, a slim frame, and extraordinary eyes that were completely white except for the pupils. "Hey there! What are ya doing here?" She asked. "Nothin'..." I mumbled again. "Alright then, what's your name?" She asked, obviously trying to get answers from me. "MmmMmm..." I mumbled for the third time. "Alright then, MmmMmm. You need any help?" She chirped brightly. "Nah, I'm alright..." I whispered. "Alright then." The girl said, shrugging. "See ya stranger." She added, walking off. I blinked a few times. "Hmmmm..." I hummed softly. I decided to continue walking for a few hours, so I stood up and started strolling.
The streets and trees passed by me for what seemed like forever. Eventually, the sky dimmed and my eyelids grew heavy. I suddenly heard a scream and ran to it in a panic. It came from and alleyway, so I ran to it.
I'd never seen anything like it.
A portal. Like the kind in science fiction or magic! But, the girl that I'd seen before was being sucked into it. I tensed in surprise. The girl saw me and gave me a pleading look, but before she could say anything, she flew right in. I gasped in surprise, running towards the portal. I was almost immediately was flung in.
