Gun's POV
We made our way through the market, ogres looking at us and glaring angrily. I felt myself start to tremble at their gazes. Bebe noticed and grabbed my wrist, pulling me along to pick up the pace. I didn't like being dragged, but I didn't argue. We got to the castle and Bebe pounded on the door. She seemed furious.
The doors flung open, but there was no one there. She took a deep breath nervously as I dug my heels into the dirt. I didn't want to go in anymore. It was terrifying. Bebe sighed a tugged on my arm. "We've got to go in." She huffed. "D-do we though?" I whimpered. "Yes. Now." She sighed and kept pulling me to the door. I eventually agreed and followed her. We went inside and the doors shut behind us.
The walls and floor were dark marble and cobblestone. The room was huge, two staircases going up to an upper floor with a black banister. The wall we were facing had a large stained glass window of a stunning mosaic. Above us was haunting chandelier.
It all gave me a haunted mansion vibe. Whoever lived here had nice taste, but it seemed like they might be scary. I whimpered, my ears pulling down from fear. Bebe tightened her grip on my wrist, a reflex to becoming nervous. Her long acrylic nails scratched at my skin, stinging my nerves. I huffed and tugged my wrist away and kept walking to a different room.
It looked like a throne room, the walls white marble and the floor a dark blue tile. In front of me was a large throne against the wall across from me. The throne was black with velvet seats and intricate trimming on the edges. It seemed like its width was the same as two school desks pushed together. The ceiling and walls to the left of the throne had four chains on them, so if someone was chained there from each limb and someone was on the throne, the chained up person would be facing the left profile of the throne. The walls were lined with sickening portraits of malformed faces, twisted into expressions of horrid agony. I whimpered, starting to shake. "Bee!" I called. Bebe came over to me. "What is- What the..." She saw the room, her eyebrows furrowing in confusion.
"Do you think this is where Code lives?" She asked, a hint of wonder in her voice. I nervously shrugged, but I was almost positive. A chilling laugh suddenly ran through that castle and too us. It made my blood run cold and a shiver run down my spine. Shadows suddenly started forming around the throne, forming into a figure as they settled into the throne. The shadows faded into color and I saw the woman that would forever haunt my nightmares.
She was tall with pale skin, long greasy black hair, black eyes with other spider-like eyes on her face, two black scars that ran across her eyes, coming together at her forehead, a musty blue gem where the scars intersected, and wearing a black suit-like dress.
"So... They've finally decided to meet me..." She hummed, smirking creepily. "I've always wondered what you two looked like seperated. I stopped watching a bit ago." She sighed, standing up and stretching. She looked at us, her smile dropping as she saw us and turned into a glare.
"How disappointing."
