Glow Worm's POV

"Why are you guys so scared looking?" Cherry asked the two other girls. Gun smiled, "W-we're not nervous!" She lied. Cherry crossed her arms and looked at her skeptically. "Yes, Children. You've never told me why you seem so scared at these times." Mama said gently. Gun looked at Bebe, as if asking if they should tell them. Bebe nodded, leaning back. Gun took a deep breath. "We're observed during this time. Like we're some sort of experiment. We've named the female voice we heard 'Code'." She said. "Why Code?" I asked. "Not really sure, just thought it sounded cool." Bebe said. I sighed, "Of course." I mumbled.

Bebe did stuff like that. Name or refer to things in a name that she thought sounded cool. "So, this lady is, like, watching you?" I asked. Gun nodded, "Yes..." She mumbled. "Well then, let's find her!" I said confidently. Everyone looked at me dumbfounded. I blushed in embarrassment. 'Oh God, they're gonna think I'm an idiot.' I thought to myself.

"Hm... That might not be a bad idea. Maybe we can reason with her?" Bebe hummed thoughtfully. I brightened up a bit, adjusting my glasses. "Well, Mama taught us how to fight, so if this gets messy, which it probably will, we can fight." Cherry said. We got ready and soon found that we had absolutely no idea how to find Code. Mama saw our struggle and asked to speak with Gun. She complied and went to her. I went to the door and listened to what they were saying.

"Gunna, I see something within you that is very important. There is much growth within you, but I see strength in you. I'm making you leader." Mama said. I gasped, rushed over to the others and told them everything. Bebe looked a little disappointed. I continued listening.

"This weapon will be a guide for you and your group. It will create portals to any dimension or area you think of." Mama said. I heard Gun gasp softly in surprise. A few moments later, Mama and Gun came out. Gun was holding a slick black machete. "Alright, so I just need to imagine being in the same dimension as Code?" Gun asked. Mama nodded, smiling proudly. Gun took a deep breath and raised the machete. She swooped it down, and as it traced along the floor, a portal opened up where she cut. Gun smiled excitedly, "Let's go!" She yipped, then jumped through the portal.

Mama seemed as if she wanted to protest, but let us go. We went through the portal and found ourselves in a new dimension.

If I had to describe it in one word... It would be...

Ogres.

So.

Many.

Ogres.

It looked like a giant market place with a musty-looking village. It was foggy and grimy, making Gun cough, squinting her eyes. A ways back was a large castle, looking gloomier than the market. "You guys wait here. We don't know if this lady is dangerous." Bebe told Cherry and me. We sighed and reluctantly agreed to stay and wait. My sister nodded and walked off with Gun following close behind her.

I could only pray that they'd be ok. But little did any of us know that we'd be meeting our worst enemy that day.
