Chapter Nine

Aries’s P.O.V
It was the next day and I had gone to the Hospital Wing to see Uncle Moony only to see him out of bed, “where are you going?” I asked him wondering, “going to my office. I need to get everything packed.” he said and I was confused, “what do you mean. We don’t have to pack until later.” I told him and he sighed, “I know, I’ll tell you when we get to my office.” Uncle Moony said and we eventually made it there and he started packing his things, “so what happened?” I asked him, “someone has decided to tell certain people about my ‘Condition’ and once the word spreads, the kids' parents wouldn’t want someone like me teaching their kids.” he said to me, “it was Snape wasn’t it. He was the one who spoke up about it, didn't he” I said to him and he nodded with a sigh, “yes it was him, but it’s alright, I’ve decided to resign.” Uncle Moony said, “no it’s not. He can’t just do that. Everyone loves you, except for maybe some of the Slytherins but still. They think you’re bloody brilliant.” I told him as he had his back towards me, “Hello Harry” he said and I turned to see Harry standing in the doorway, “should I leave you two?” I asked, “please.” Uncle Moony said and I nodded and walked out and made my way to the Great Hall only to see some people crowding around before Seamus walked up to me, “where did you and Harry get it?” He asked me, “What do you mean? Get what?” I asked him, “Only the fastest Broom in the world.” He told me as I made it to the others only to see two packages on the table, “I’m sorry Aries, they were wrapped pretty badly. They made me open them” Ron said to me, “did not” the twins said at the same time and I opened them only to see that Seamus was right before Harry walked up beside me, “they’re firebolts.” one of them said, “it’s the fastest Broom in the world.” the other said and I smiled knowing exactly who got them for us, “for us? But who sent it?” Harry asked, “no one knows” Ron said, “who do you think?” I said to him, smiling a little before Hemione showed us a feather, “this came with them” she said, “we should go for a test ride.” I suggested to him, “brilliant. Let's go then” he said and we rushed out of the Great Hall.

By the time we made it outside with the others rushing out behind us, both Harry and I had gotten on the broom and before we knew it, we bolted into the air and I soon managed to gain control and I smiled and laughed the entire time as we continued to fly around before making it back to the clothes and we had let some of the others take a ride on them as well before we had decided to head back inside. Later on, I bumped into Dumbledore as I was making my way back to the Common Room, “ahh, Aries. Just the girl I was hoping to talk to” he said to me, “is everything alright sir?” I asked him, “yes, everything is fine. Can we speak in my office?” he said and I nodded and went to his office and not long after we made it inside, he sat down at his desk, “now, I am assuming you know everything that has happened with your Godfather, Remus?” he asked and I nodded, “yeah, he told me earlier today sir.” I told him and he lightly nodded, “I hope that he will be well now that he won’t be a professor here anymore. I know he has you to thank for that, even before.” he said to me and I nodded, “yeah, we managed after he told me once I was old enough to know and understand it all. I was also thinking of getting a summer job somehow once I am able so that we can get the ingredients for the Wolfsbane potion.” I said to him and he smiled a little, “Remus is very lucky to have you with him” he said and I smiled, “I’m glad to have him as a Godfather. But now it’s time for me to return the favor and help him.” I said to Dumbledore, “that’s good, you should get going and get your things ready for tomorrow before the fest later” he said and I agreed and left his office and made my way back to my Dorm and both Hermione and I started packing everything and by the time we were done, we both had gone down to the feast together before she Brought something up, “so, about you and George. Do you like him? I am just wondering because I’ve noticed the way you are when you’re around him.” she said and I was silent at first before answering, “yeah, I guess you could say that I like him, more than like him actually.” I told her and she giggled, “please don’t say anything to him. I don’t want to ruin our friendship.” I told her and she nodded, “I promise” she said and we eventually made it to the Great Hall and sat with the others and before we ate, Dumbledore gave his end of the year speech before we all finally began to eat.

It has been a while since the summer holiday had started and another change for Remus was coming up soon and I was making sure I had gotten everything ready for him before the Weasley’s Owl had flown in through the window causing himself to run into the table and I winced a little before walking over to it making sure Errole was alright before grabbing the letter from him and began to read the letter after I had opened it.

Dear Aries,

I am writing to inform you that we have an extra spot for going to the Quidditch World Cup this year and we were wondering if you would be willing to come along, both Fred and George won’t stop bugging me or their father about it either. I hope that you will join them as Harry and Hermione are going as well as they both have already been informed about it as well and were wondering the same thing. Anyways dear, I hope that you and Remus are doing well and that you are having a good summer so far and I hope to hear from you about the invitation soon.

By the time I finished reading the letter, I heard Uncle Moony walking back into the house from getting a few things for the house and I rushed up to him and showed him the letter, “what’s this?” He asked me, “A letter from Mrs. Weasley, she was asking if I am able to go with Mr. Weasley and the others to the Quidditch World Cup. Can I go Uncle Moony please.” I said excitedly as he chuckled, “yes you can. And you don’t have to be back before the Full Moon if you don’t want to. I’ll be just fine on my own alright.” he told me, “are you sure about that. I know you can manage on your own most of the time but what if you forget to take your potion?” I said to him feeling worried, “I’ll be fine, Aries. Don’t worry about me. Now go write back to Mrs. Weasley about it.” he said to me, “alright then, there’s a batch of Wolfsbane in the cupboard above the sink alright.” I told him and he nodded and I went to my room and began to write back to Mrs. Weasley before sending it off with their Owl and began to pack my things later that night and after eating dinner, I had continued making sure that I had packed everything I needed before heading off to bed that night.

When the next morning came around, I had gotten ready to leave for the Weasley’s home and decided to use Floo Powder and managed to be in the Weasley’s home only to have the others surrounding me, “aw, there you are dear” Mrs. Wealsey said as she helped me up, “hello there Aries. I’m glad you could come.” Mr. Weasley said as I stood up, “I’m glad I could come Mr. Weasley” I said to him smiling before I saw the twins before they smothered me in hugs and so did the others, “we missed you Aries. We’re glad you’re coming with us. And besides, George won’t shut up about you either.” Fred said and I chuckled a little as I looked at George, “shut up will you.” George said to Fred and I sighed a little, “I missed you guys too. It’s good to see you, Harry, Ron.” I said as I looked over to both of them and they smiled a little “you to.” Harry said before we hugged before we hugged before I went to hang out with the twins for the rest of the day and had a few laughs as the twins pulled a few pranks on everyone in the house and I helped with all of them except for the one they had done on their mother and I laughed when she got angry at them as I knew it was bound to happen and we all had fun before we had gone to bed for the night since we had to get up early the next morning.
