Aries’s P.O.V
It was the next day and I was sitting in the Great Hall with Fred and George and we had a few laughs before seeing Nigel hand something to me, “oh, thank you Nigel.” I said to him and he smiled and nodded before he walked away and I began to open it to see what looked like a dress and I was confused before I noticed a letter but before I read it, I noticed Ron get up only to see him holding something up as he showed it to Ginny and we laughed at what she had said to him, “I’m not wearing that. It’s ghastly” she told him, “what are you on about?” Ron asked Hermione, “they’re not for Ginny. They’re for you. They’re dress robes” Hermione told him and we all laughed about it, “dress robes? For what?” Ron asked her, “don’t know, I got a dress myself and saw a note with it, so I hope to find the answer to that in the note hopefully if you really want to know.” I told him as I calmed down a little, “at least you won’t look like an idiot when you wear it.” Ron told me and I shook my head a little, “whatever” I told him before reading the note that came with the dress I got.

Dear Aries,

I had Remus write this out for me in case it was checked. But anyways, I sent you this dress that had belonged to your mother as she had worn it to what is called a Yule Ball, it happens on Christmas Eve during the TriWizard Tournament ever since it had started. I hope that you will love it and I know you would be just as Beautiful as your mother had when she had worn it before you. I know She would want you to wear it. I love you pup and I hope everything is going well and tell Harry that I had said hello and to stay safe during this Tournament as well for me if you will and I hope to see you soon.

Love, Padfoot.

By the time I had finished reading the note from dad, I had put it away and closed it up before turning to face Ron, “well, you’re lucky dad had given me an answer to your question about the Dress Robes that your mother had given you. There is something called a Yule Ball that’s coming up on Christmas Eve and by the looks of it, I think it’s a dance of sorts.” I told him and he sighed in disgust, “bloody hell, there’s going to be a dance?” he asked and I nodded, “yeah, at least that’s what dad told me anyways.” I told him and chuckled a little as he sat down, “oh come on Ron, they’re not that bad.” I told him as I continued to hang out with Fred, George and Angilena during the rest of Breakfast.

Later that day, all of the Gryffindors had met in a room with Professor McGonagall as Mr. Filch had fussed over the music, “the Yule Ball has been a tradition of the TriWizard Tournament since its inception. On Christmas Eve night, we and our Guests gather in the Great Hall for a night of well-mannered frivolity. As representatives of the host school, I expect each and every one of you to put your best foot forward. And I mean this literally because, the Yule Ball is first and foremost a dance.” Professor McGonagall said to everyone as we all began to mumble to each other before she continued, “silence. The house of Godric Gryffindor has commanded the respect of the Wizard World for nearly 10 centuries. I will not have you, in the course of a single evening, besmirching that name by behaving like a bunch of babbling bumbling bands of baboons. Now, to dance is to let the body breathe. Inside every girl, a secret swan slumbers longing to burst forth and take flight. Inside every boy, a lordly lion prepared to prance. Mr. Weasley.” Professor McGonagall said as she called out his name, “yes?” Ron asked, “will you join me please?” she asked him and he soon stood up, “now, place your right hand on my waist.” she told him, “where?” Ron asked and I chuckled a little, “y waist.” she told him again and I whistled a little and I wasn’t the only one before Hermione nudged me, “what?” I asked her before she smiled a little, “Mr. Filch if you please.” Professor McGonagall said before he started the music and both Ron and Professor McGonagall began to dance and I noticed George and Fred mocking him and I laughed a little, “everybody come together.” Professor McGonagall spoke up again before all of us stood up except for the boys and Neville was the only one brave enough to stand before the others had done so as well and George had eventually walked up to me and gently grabbed my hand which made me blush a little as he also grabbed my waist and I rested my other hand on his shoulder before we had begun to dance as well as the others and we laughed a little as George had messed up a little every once and a while and it made me forget that there were other people in the room before hearing Professor McGonagall again telling everyone that th dance lesson was over and we all had soon left the room and went on with our days.

As time went on, everyone at the school were talking about the Yule ball as it was coming up and throughout that time, I was hanging out with Hermione and Angilena most of the time as we talked and spoke our opinions about the Ball as well and one day when we were in the Great Hall doing school work, I sat next to Angelina as we whispered to each other most of time as we worked on what we needed to before we felt something hit the both of us and saw that it was the twins as they looked at us and Fred motioned to Angelina, asked her to the Ball and she agreed before George had done the same and I had said yes as I hoped that he would ask me since we found out about the Ball and we both chuckled about it as well as we continued to do our work before we were done and left the Great Hall, “can’t believe I finally have a date to the Ball.” Angelina said, “do you have a dress picked out yet?” I asked her and she shook her head, “no not yet, could you help me pick one out?” she asked and I smiled, “yeah, I can do that. We can go this weekend, see what they have in Hogsmeade.” I told her and she agreed and when that day finally came the both of us along with a few other girls, looking in one of the shops until Angelina had finally found the one and it was a beautiful purple dress, “that will look beautiful on you.” I told her looking at it, “good, because I love it. It’s perfect.” she said and had decided to get the dress before we had gone to the Three Broomsticks after the others had found a dress that they had liked as well and talked about other things as well as we had some Butter Bear before we had decided to leave and made it back to the Castle for the day. Later that night, I was sitting with Hermione before we had noticed a few people walk into the Common Room only to see Ron along with Ginny and a few others and began to wonder what had happened, “what happened to you?” Harry asked, “he just asked Fleur Delacour out.” Ginny said as we went up to him, “what?” Hermione said, “how did it go?” I asked, wondering, “yeah, what did she say?” Harry asked, “no, of course.” Hermione said before Ron shook his head, “she said yes.” Hermione said, a little shocked, “don’t be silly. There she was, walking by. You know how I like it when they walk. I couldn’t help it. It just sort of slipped out.” Ron told us before Ginny spoke up, “actually, he sort of screamed at her. It was a bit frightening.” Ginny said and I felt bad for Ron to be honest, “and what did you do then?” Harry asked him, “what else? I ran for it. I’m not cut out for this Harry. I don’t know what got into me. I always liked looking at them from behind. She’s never going to forgive me.” Ron told us, “I’m sure she’ll come around eventually. I hope.” I said to Ron, whispering the last part and we continued to make sure that Ron was alright before it started getting late and everyone had started going to bed for the night.
