River Evans a 5'8 undeniably attractive teenage hockey player who wears #98, has just been accepted to play in the Junior goodwill games because of her excellent skills.
She's currently captain on the number one hockey Washington state team(the "jokers"). I'd say she's a very cocky person with a big ego but a heart to just match it, having many other admirable qualities.
Packing her stuff she starts to remember all the memories she had in Minnesota. See she used to live there and played for a team called the "hawks" and was their star player until she had to move. Her parents were business people and it would cause them to move around a lot.
Her family were pretty wealthy and very well respected. All of these things added up, her amazing hockey skills, her Minnesota background, and family all gave her a spot in the Junior goodwill games.
She eventually put on a dark green hoodie with a matching pair of grey sweats for the long plane ride. And after arriving at the stadium she went in to the locker room to sharpen her skates before practice. While this was happening the new ducks were getting introduced.
"That's Luis Mendoza. He's from our Miami club. A real speedster, incredible skater. I clocked him at 1.9 seconds, blue line to blue line." Said Mr. Tibbles as Connie comments "good-lookin' skater" "very good lookin' what do you think guy?"
"Shut up, Averman" replied guy pushing Averman to the ground in annoyance to his remark. "He has one minor problem" Mr. T continues and Luis proves his statement by crashing into the wall with a loud thud and an "aah!" coming from his mouth. "Has a little trouble stopping." Mr. T continues on with the introductions and it eventually leads up to everyone arguing.
Mr. T feels like someone's missing "there's one more Bombay?" Says Mr. T questioning himself as coach Bombay tried to calm the team down and listen to Mr. T at the same time.
River skates in looking down at her skates to check their movements "Sorry I was sharpening my ska-" looking up finding everyone, other than Mr. T, confused "-tes" she finishes. "Bad timing?" She speaks again lightly scrunching her face together, causing a few chuckles and slight smiles crawl up on peoples faces.
"Ah! Your here, I knew something didn't feel right!" Mr. Tibbles starts."This right here, is River Evans your number one chance of winning, especially when you go against island" he said the last bit with a face as everyone gathered in a line listening to Mr. T while looking at River in awe, knowing her background and family status.
River slightly smiled as Tibbles started again "She is amazing, she's like an all in one package deal! She is incredibly flexible meaning she can play practically any position. She's rarely missed a shot while scoring its bizarre, she's almost as quick as Mendoza, except she can actually stop" River began to play, skate and do all these tricks showing what she can do.
"She has wonderful tactics and techniques, she's clever I'm telling you she's the best hockey player I've ever seen play." And just before coach Bombay says anything Mr. Tibbles proceeds to say "and no, not just for her age, it's impressive!" She winked at the team in a playful way which caught a few smiles.
"Wow." Said coach smiling, not having any other words to describe his thoughts. "Okay, Let's all start with a scrimmage!"
"You heard your coach! Now- hey, you don't need me here. I've got an appointment anyway. I've got to see Miss Mackay, she's the team tutor" he said with a smile as he walked out of the doors.
