Avneet's POV

when my phone rank that afternoon I knew exactly what would be well not the particular person but the company at least I don't know how I knew because it had been a long time since my interview and I did essentially Given Up On landing the job
still I wasn't wrong

"hello" I answered

"hi I am looking for Avneet Kaur" the women on the other end of the line said

"that's me"

"hi Avneet I am Jannat Zubair from Nigam industries I interviewed you a few weeks ago" she said

"I am calling to see if you are still interested in the communication coordinator position at our office"

"I am"

"we would like to offer you the position" she replied brightly

my heart rest in my chest and I wanted to squeal with joy
wow I cried thank you

"when do I start"

I heard some tapping in the background then jannat said

" can you start tomorrow we are going to have to throw you in off The Deep end unfortunately"

that didn't bother me at all I was used to thinking on my feet and learning on the job was the best way for me to pick it up

"absolutely" I replied

she gave me instructions in regarding to what I should expect for the day then said she did see me tomorrow I Hunged Up The call feeling a fierce sense of pride
I was happy

Next Morning

I got ready but I arrived at work a few minutes early as a consequence which was a good thing I supposed. when I step through the door I casually breath the sent of the office the receptionist clearly didn't share the same positivity that I was excluding .

"wait here" she Grumbled after I told that I was supposed to meet jannat at the front Desk.

she called jannat

She said to me that she is coming

   Jannat came and greeted me then she had lead me through the door and into the main office space which was steaming with life.

"what's going on" I ask

as we pass people who look like their dead and haven't had any break in years .

"we are in the process of acquiring a new property" Jannat explained

" so much work" she signed

Then she lead me in front of a glass door that said Communications coordinator .

"this is your office" she said confirming my thoughts

"we will get the name changed haven't had the time"

I looked at the title where it said anushka sen that was fine now it was my office . inside my office she showed me around all the cabinets . She gave me the login for my new email and we quickly completed all the necessary paper. she went so quickly through everything that I could have sold her my soul and not known itthen came the tour of the building I followed along as she showed me the gorgeous lawn, the launch area and introduced me to various people that I did be interacting with on a daily basis then we passed by an office with a close wooden door which said Siddharth Nigam [CEO] but she didn't stop that was fine I thought I was sure that I will meet him at some point when all was done Jannat lead me back to my office and lefted a big black Blender into my Desk

"here's everything you need to know about your job "she said giving me an apologytic smile

"I am sorry that I can't train you today but I will sometime next week when all of this has died down"

" what should I prioritize first" i asked looking at the lengthy bunch .

"good question" she said

then she turned pages

"this thing needs to be done first, if you have any problem just let me know"

Then Jannat left.
