A masquerade ball maybe?
Hide who you are
Try to deceive people
Figure out who everyone is
Only to find out you were wrong all alongSounds fun
The game
The hiding
The deceit
The twistsBut it's just a party
everything is fake
And everything is over by tomorrowBut it's not
I am not the face I hide underMasquerade ball turned murder mystery?
A hideous crime
An unsuspecting victim
A few who can justify the murder
And a lot who thought it would never happen53 trans people were killed last year
For the soul reason of being
They took off their maskThe became themselves
Even if it killed them
the mask was killing them first
It was tearing them apart from the inside out
So the saved themselves
Only to be brutally murdered the next dayI wish this was only a story

Dysphoric Verses
PoetryFtM trans poems. This is a collection of some random poetry that I write to help cope with my gender dysphoria. This is more of a journal for me, but I also write this in hopes of people reading and relating to my work.
