Chapter 3- First Day Of School

CORY's POV

After Tommy and I had breakfast we headed to school and met up with the guys. We all chilled with the bikes for a while and it seemed as though they were fine with me being with them while we were at school so that was a plus.

"hey, I have to go to my locker to get some stuff for class so see you later," I said and when I was about to leave Booby spoke

"I will come with I have English first period with you so we can walk together," he said and we both started to walk to my locker. as we were walking to my locker we passed the kid from the beach the one who was getting cozy with Ali. as we walked past he looked at me and smiled and then he saw Bobby and the smile dropped.

"so you ok after last night?" Bobby asked I just gave him a questioning look

"you know with the whole fight with Emily?" he clarified

"Oh yeah I am fine I just needed to cool down," I said Bobby just smiled

"so what did you and Tommy do?" he asked as I put the combination into my locker

"We just talked and I showed him some of my drawings," I said as I got the books I needed for my next two classes

"oh yeah how did that go," He asked

"it was good...." I said and then Bobby reached out for the books I was holding

"Here let me carry those while you finish putting your bag in there," he said so I handed him my books. As I was closing my locker I saw that same Boy from earlier open the locker next to mine

"Hey, Bobby can you please go and get my pencil case off of my bike, please? I left it sitting on the seat" I asked

"Yeah sure.... um.. here," he said as he handed me my books and headed back to the bikes to get my pencil case. After Bobby had left I turned when I heard a voice next to me.

"Hey I'm Daniel LaRusso," the boy from earlier said and extended his hand to me

"Hi Daniel LaRusso I'm Cory," I said as I shook his hand

"you know that guy you were just with him and his friends are bad news," he said

"oh, and what makes you think that sunglasses," I said

"wait, what why oh.... It because I am wearing my sunglasses. Well they gave me this," he said and took his Glasses of to revil a black eye.

"oh that's all well they must have had a reason to do that," I said unfazed by what has been said

"no, they had no reason all I did was give a girl her radio back," He said slightly confused by a lack of reaction

"listen they are my friends and no matter what you say you aren't going to change that. What makes you think that I will listen to a guy I just met over my friends." I said getting slightly irritated

"ok look I am sorry I was just trying to warn you ok? I don't mean to offend you. Look can we start over please and forget this conversation?" he asked

"sure just never ever tell me what to do or I will make your life a living hell and just a warning to you I would stay away from Ali with an 'i' she only courses problems for everyone," I said and then felt a presence beside me, they put their arm around my shoulders and I leaned into them knowing it was Bobby.

"hey Cor here's your pencil case," Bobby said as he put the case on top of my pile of books

"Thanks, Bobby, let's get to class" and as I said that the bell rang

Bobby and I both headed to class and successfully made it through the first period. I am now heading to Math which I have with Tommy, Bobby, Dutch, Johnny, And Jimmy. when I got to the classroom I saw Tommy had saved me a spot at his table because Bobby sat next to Johnny, Dutch and Jimmy were sat together in a different row and the only seat left was next to Tommy. When I walked over to Tommy's table he patted the seat next to him signaling me to sit. I sat down and put my glasses on I was meant to wear them all the time but I found they would just course my bullies to pick on me more.

"wait you wear glasses?" Tommy asked

"Yeah, You never noticed before," I said

"no, I never noticed before. You look cute with them on" Tommy said making me look down to hide my blush while I shoved his shoulder a little, making him laugh. 'oh god his laugh is like music to my ears it is so hot' I thought to myself 'wait what I can't think things like that he is just a friend,' I told myself

(TIME SKIP BROUGHT TO YOU BY MYSELF)

It is now lunch and I am currently sitting with boys at a table. I am working on my Music project finishing writing a song I am performing today in class. ( the song is 'Fast Car' by Tracy Chapman I give full credit to her I am Just for story purposes saying that the character wrote it) I have written the words I am just putting music to it with my guitar that is currently sitting on my lap the song is about my Grandma and Grandfather and their life.

"hey. Hey Cory. Earth to Cory" the boys said while waving their hands in front of my face

"what you working on," Dutch asked

"Oh just my project for music class" I replied

"oh ok Johnny is about to prank The new kid," Tommy said,

"oh you mean Daniel?" I said while they all looked at me

"how do you know his name?" asked Jimmy

"his locker is next to mine and he thought it his business that he should tell me not to be friends with you," I said their eyes all widened

"he told you what? why I oughta.." Dutch started but I cut him off

"don't worry I told him off and then walked away with Bobby so I think he got the message," I said with a smirk while the boys all smiled. I put my guitar in its case and then watched as Johnny picked up his plate of pie and walked over to where Daniel was about to sit with Ali and her friends including my sister Emily. Just as Daniel was sitting down Johnny put the pie on his seat and Daniel sat in it and our whole table burst out laughing. Johnny and Daniel said something to each other but I couldn't hear because we were too far away and then Daniel wiped the leftover pie onto Johnny's shirt this coursed a fight and the boys all got up and ran to help. They all effectively ended up in a dog pile that was broken up by the teachers.

In music class (pretend that she is playing the guitar and a friend is playing markers)

"ok students now for our final performance Cory would you please come to the front," the teacher said

While I was performing I noticed the boys outside the window listening. when I finished I saw the jumping up and down and pretending to clap making me smile that is until the teacher looked over to the widow and they all ducked down so fast it was like they teleported, making me smile while I hold my laugh.
