"You didn't have to carry me, Tommy," I said as he gently sat me on the bed
"yes I did otherwise you might have fainted again," he said going to sit on the floor
"Tommy what are you doing get off the floor and sit next to me you idiot," I said smiling at him
After a while of Tommy and I just talking I ended up lying with my head on his chest and him playing with my hair. As I listen to the comforting rhythm of his heartbeat I feel myself start to drift off
"go to sleep Cory I'll be here when you wake up no-ones going to hurt you" I hear Tommy whisper before I slip into darkness.

Tommy's POV
I was woken by tossing a turning coming from beside me and sat up to see Cory asleep sweating and shaking her head while mumbling something.
"no n-n-no please. Ian ......Ian help me......... no no no Ian....... Ian please..... get up please" was what she was saying. Just as i was about to wake her she flew up into an upright possession breathing heavily and crying. I slowly sit up i whisper
"Cory? are you ok?" my voice a little raspy from sleeping as i put one of my hands on her should and the other wipes my eyes. She shakes her head no while still crying and turns around and wraps her arms around my torso and hugs me burring her head in the crook of my neck. At first i was a little surprised but i slowly put my arms around her back being careful of her injuries and hug back. I gently rub her back and whisper in her ear
"hey its ok your safe. do you want to talk about it?" i ask gently as she pulls her head from my shoulder and looks at me. She shakes her head no and wipes her puffy eyes before laying her head back on my shoulder and whispering in my ear
"Why are you so kind to me Tommy?" the question took me a bit by surprise
"why wouldn't i be kind to you Cory you are the most amazing and brave person i have ever met, you look out for your family and are always there for everyone and i think it's only fair for you to have someone." i told her truthfully she just lifted her head from my should and looked back at me and said
"i think that the nicest thing that anybody has ever said to me"
"do you want to lie back down?" i asked softly she just tuned to me and nodded. i slowly lie back down with her following she gently laid her head on my chest and kept her arms wrapped around me. after a few minuets she starts talking softly
"i had a brother" she said
"really?" i asked carefully
"yeah his name was Ian he was my best friend and biggest supporter before he.......?" she started and then went quiet
"before what Cor?" i whispered while rubbing her back
"Before he died................. I was walking home after working a late shift and i was a to wait for Ian to come walk with me but he was late and it was cold so i figured i would just start walking and meet up with him on the way. I was walking and then someone grabbed me form behind and dragged me into an ally they had a knife against my thought and i was so scared i was only 13. I was crying as he take my clothes off he raped me. when he was done I turned my head to the side and saw a silhouette walking past the ally and screamed. The person came running to help and thats when i realised it was Ian. he pulled the guy off my and started beating him until he feel to the floor and passed out or so we thought. Ian rushed to my side and gave me his jacket so i could cover up and then i hugged him so tight. I was hugging him when all of a sudden he grunted again and again I pulled away form him and saw blood seeping though his shirt. He started to fall and i caught him as best i could but he was 6'4 and i was only 5'1 at the time so i laid him on the ground and the guy ran away. I held him and cried and screamed for help but no one ever came and by the time Someone found us it was far to late. he died right in my arms and there was nothing i could do. When i was taken to the hospital they told me that everything appeared to be fine and that there was only miner damage to me physically but mentally i was destroyed. Dad finally made it to the hospital and he was so upset about Ian that he started yelling and telling me it was all my fault. A month later I went back to the hospital alone because i had been really sick for few weeks and dad was still made so i didn't want to bother him. The doctors ran some test and told me i was pregnant. They knew about the rape and told me i could have an abortion but i needed to have parental consent. They called my dad and he didn't answer so they called the next person on my emergency contacts list my godfather. He came to the hospital and signed the form and i had the abortion. I never told anyone about the baby not my dad not Emily nobody. Emily thinks it was just an attempted rape she doesn't know that it actually happened. I-I've never told anybody that wow" she said i had tears in my eyes and hugged her even tighter no really saying anything as i just take all the information in
"Tommy please don't hate me" she said lifting her head from my shoulder so she could look at my face
"Coralyn Maria Langsden Kreese I could never hate you" i said as i gently placed both my hand on either side of her face
"and it is not your fault what happened none of it is your fault ok?" i said gently as i wiped a tear form under her eye she just nodded and laid back down with her head on my chest
"thank-you for telling me" i said
"thanks for understanding" she replied back
after a few minuets i spoke
" did they ever find the guy that did it?"
"no" she said softly as she snuggled even closer to me after a while i hear her breaths even out and notice that she has fallen asleep. not long after i fall asleep to
