Chapter 1- Introduction

Cory Kreese is a 5'3 Brown-haired ticking time bomb, At least that is what everybody says. Cory is the Daughter of the one and only John Kreese. John didn't want a daughter let alone two but that is what he got stuck with so he made it work. He pushed Cory every day she never got any relief from the guy. Cory goes to west Vally high but she goes unnoticed by everyone witch she finds comfort in. People seem to get on her nerves very easily I guess it must run in the family, speaking of family Cory has a twin sister Emily and had an older brother Zander. Emily is the exact opposite of Cory she is confident caring, good with people, and makes friends with everyone she meets. Now don't get me wrong Cory can be kind and caring when she needs to be but she lost most of her confidence and happens after what happened to Zander and how he reacted to it. Emily is the golden child her dad's favorite in his eyes she can never do anything wrong. Cory thinks she is the Favorite because she is the one that doesn't look like their mum were as Cory is almost identical to her mother that and she is blamed for Zander. Zander, Cory, and Emily's mother ran off with some lifeguard when they were seven. Emily doesn't know about the emotional and sometimes even physical abuse Cory goes through from their dad. Kreese taught her karate after he realized she wouldn't fight his orders anymore. The abuse stopped when she started karate with him and he became less agitated by her presence. today he is bringing her to his dojo to give his students some "real competition" he says. He believes that Cory is now one of his best fighters and wants to put it to the test.

Tommy one of Kreese's best students always wonder who the girl with the boyish style was as she walked down the hall. He noticed how she would turn everyone away and keep her head down. He wanted to hear her voice but she never spoke not even to teachers. She was known as the quiet weirdo at the back of the classroom. Once Tommy saw some guys giving her a hard time and started to walk over only to see her run for the hills before he could get there.

Kreese had set rules for Cory that didn't apply to Emily, while Emily was out partying and hanging out with friends Cory was to be at home cooking, cleaning, and staying quiet. Another rule she had to follow until he said otherwise was nobody is to know that you know Karate. Cory never broke his rules because she know from experience the punishment that comes with that

Today is the day that Kreese will be introducing Cory to the Cobras, As Cory and Kreese walked to the Dojo Emily ran up to them.

"hey Daddy can I stay at Alli's house tonight?" she asked while hugging dad's arm

"of course, you can," he said and then gave her a side hug before she ran off with her friends. Cory was always jealous of her twin and father's relationship this only pushed her to do everything he said so she could make him proud of her and hopefully one day get him to look at her with the same amount of care that he does with Emily. As Emily side-hugged her father Cory looked away with her fists balled up and her knuckles turning white she then took a deep breath and turned her head forward again. When Emily ran off after her friends Cory looked longingly at them until they had finally arrived at the Dojo. When they entered the Dojo It was empty.

"Cory go get dressed and then warm up in the backroom," Kreese said without even looking at her

"yes Sensei" she replied as she walked into the bathroom rather than the locker room to change. after Cory had warmed up all she had to do was wait for her father to call her into the room. She knew that the boys were there because she heard them warming up. After A few minutes, Kreese called out.

"CORY!" this made her jump slightly before walking out in her Gi and standing at the front of the room next to her dad.

"BOY's this is Cory, do NOT TAKE PITY ON HER BECAUSE SHE IS A GIRL I WANT YOU TO HIT AS HARD AS YOU CAN," Kreese said getting louder with each word. all the boys looked at Cory with wide eyes as she held her head high.
