CORA's POV

"Well don't look too happy to see me. I mean it's not like I'm your Godfather or anything" He said

"what are you doing here Terry?" I asked while still staying frozen in place

"Well your father called me and said he wanted me to train you from now on so from now on you will call me Sensi Silver," He said and when I heard the word Sensi I felt shivers run down my spine.

"What?! this can't be happening he kicked me out and said he never wanted to hear from me again so why is he sending you to train me?" I asked not taking my eyes off the tall man now standing in front of me.

"well he said it's his condition if you don't want him to sell this trailer and leave you homeless" Terry said

"Your lessons will be the same times as they were but at my place instead of the Dojo," he said and then turned and left locking the door from the outside with the key he apparently has. After I knew he was gone I collapsed to the floor and cried that's when I felt someone's hand on my back and kneel next to me

"Hey, are you ok did someone hurt you,?" Tommy asked as I just stayed sitting on the floor silent and lost in my thoughts. After a few minutes of me not answering and Tommy checking the trailer for intruders We ended up on the couch in the same passion as last night with Tommy telling me that I am safe and that he's got me and that everything is going to get better.

SMALL-TIME SKIP

Tommy and I are currently in the waiting room of the hospital where Emily is just coming out of surgery. I am still shaken after what happened this morning but I know I need to be there for my sister.

I have been sitting here for 2 hours because I have to wait for dad to leave to be able to see her. Tommy hasn't left my side all day and I am so grateful for him being there. I am sitting in this uncomfortable chair and I feel my eyes start to get heavy. I slowly feel my self fall asleep and before I know it I let the darkness take over.

TOMMY's POV

I have been sitting here in the waiting room with Cory for almost 2 hours. As we continue waiting I see her eyes slowly getting heavier and watch as her head hangs down slightly. After a minute she moves her head to my shoulder in her sleep. As she rests her head on my shoulder she also cuddles my arm.

We stayed like this for about 30mins before I see Sensi walk out of Emily's room. As he walks past us he looks at me a nods his head then looks at his daughter with no expression on his face.

"Hey it's time to wake up" I gently whisper in Cory's ear. She only nuzzled closer to me trying to hide from the light of the room.  I slowly move my shoulder a little and she lifts her head up and wipes her eyes.

"W-what happened?" She asked

"Nothing your dad left that's all" I said and before I could even blink she was up and headed straight for Emily's door. I quickly get up and follow her and get to her just as she opens the door and walks in.

When we get in the room she goes straight over to the chair next to Emily's bed and sits on it while holding Emily's hand.

"Hey Em how you feeling?" She asked softly while looking over Emily's ever detail

"I'm good just tired" Emily said softly you could hardly hear it

"Ok you get some rest" Cory said and goes to leave but Emily grab a her hand

"Can you stay with me please?" She asked Cory just nodded and sat back down smiling at her sister. All of a sudden Emily looks over to me

"Hi Tommy" she says

"Hey Emily, how you doing?" I asked gently

"Good. Can you stay with me and Cory for a bit?" She asked which kinda surprised me as we don't know each other very well.

"Sure. You just get some sleep ok" I said and Cory smiled at me

After about an hour Emily and Cory had both fallen asleep and I was just looking through a car magazine in Emily's hospital room. I found the magazine in the waiting room. As I am reading I hear a small voice.

"Hey Tommy could you pass me that water please?" Emily asked me pointing to the water on the table

"Sure. Here you go" I said as I passed it to her as she sat up.

"Looks like Cory's asleep" she said smiling at her sister who's face was in her legs

"Yeah she feel asleep in the waiting room as-well" I said

"It's nice to know someone is looking out for her" she said to me

"Yeah well that's what friends are for" I said back

"No really, Thankyou Tommy. She hasn't had the easiest life and I know she tries to hide it from me but I know that she feel trapped sometimes. She is always there for me and she protects me. It's just nice to know that someone is doing the same for her" Emily explained to me.

"Yeah well she is an amazing person" I said while looking at Cory

"You like her don't you?" Emily asked catching me off guard

"W-wh w-what are you talking about?" I asked a little shocked

"Oh come on Tommy it's as clear as day. I mean not to her she has always been oblivious when it comes to guys. But you can't lie to me I am a girly girl I see everything" she said with a giggle making me smile and laugh at little to

"Yeah I like her but I don't want to ruin what we have you know. I don't want to lose her as a friend. And even if I wanted to I wouldn't even know where to start she's not like other girls" I explained while Emily just smiled at me
